ok so it gets plenty of hammer but if you like cheap booze side by side bars and plenty of cheesey music then youll love. personally id avoid it like the plauge but then thats me!!
It's actually not *that* bad, Ibiza Uncovered compressed a seasons' worth of events/trouble into a series, we certainly never saw any fights etc when we were there (past 2 years, we'd often go for a few cheap drinks there before hitting the proper clubs) - though there was a waft of CS gas one night (barman said it was the police stopping a fight down the road or something). To be honest, the club that was (is?) Nightlife wasn't bad - similar to any UK club! I know it's changed its name, not sure what it is now.

when i arrived in ibiza, the west end is the first thing i saw, i was so dissapointed. Its smelly, fully of drunken mouthy lads shouting stupid football chants, townies everywhere, cheesy music an crappy clubs!

Yea there are townies but there is everywhere else you go in the country. Stop being so narrow minded, ok so "You AINT no Sharon" (classily put) but i was born and bred in Essex and i most certainly am not either! so stop the labeling guys. If i was foriegn and you slagged me off because of where i came from was that'd be racist.

Just seen that u 2 are from Essex Lusha and i apologise about rant!
Im sure people can sympathise about it tho, i live at uni and it just get so boring all the white stilletto comments!

if you don't liek stay out of it.
look you have a choice of at least a 100 bars.
with cheap drink and free drink, it an easy place to meet people i never had problem.
it has some really good bars with no cost of entrance.
you can spend 40 euro get into manumission.
well 10 euro in the west end can get you an hours drink for free.
give it a go their is noting to loose...

I was in ibiza last year and am going back this summer (26 july) and as the big clubs arent my scene, we spent a lot of time in the westend. I really dont see the problem. We didnt see any of the rubbish that was on the ibiza uncovered programmes at all! Yeah there are a few wierdos, but its mostly lots of people having a good time. The superior attitude of some people on these pages is starting to get really dull! Just because lots of people dont go to ibiza to go to all the big clubs every night of their holiday doesnt mean they have any less right to be there or have their opinions heard.

People who express their dislike of the West End do so because they distinguish themselves from the badly behaved and funking shameful brits that do go there.
