Pure Carl Cox Ibiza 2017

Makes sense really. If he drip feeds dates later on in the summer it keeps him involved with Ibiza, also without the added hassle of doing a full season.

im across on both dates -will be rammed but worth a visit since ive not been to privilege since aug 2001 - radio one weekend with the good ship manumission. Fatboy, Seb, Tong and Darren emerson..was next to russell brand and mike dixon from brookside all night lol

For me "privilege" isn't the discotheque that reflects the personality/culture of IBIZA...... @Privilege

I totally disagree, its one of the remaining venues that does reflect Ibiza's notorious reputation as the party capital of the world, I mean its the biggest club in world ffs! It stands as a monument of what Ibiza has achieved over the past 30+ years as a destination that attracts a mixture of people looking for party. Its also steeped in history, all the rich and famous that used to visit in the 70s and 80s from Grace Jones to Pele, Freddie Mercury performing 'Barcelona' there, through to Manumission which went on to be the worlds largest and most famous club promotion (at the time), through to more recent years, yes its fallen from grace but its kept going, I think what a lot of people find exciting about these announcements is that many of us have not been to Privilege for some years, mainly because the events they have been putting on have not attracted us older clubbers, plus there is so much else on offer, but because many people have a huge soft spot for Privilege, and the memories it has provided from some crazy nights and mornings in that massive place.

Good on Privilege I say!

I happen to be out there on the 11th so I bought early bird tickets for 30 euro. I've never seen Carl and never been to Privilege, so it feels like a party I shouldn't miss. I've never been tempted by his Space nights just because I'm usually out there at peak time and I don't like parties that are rammed with no space to dance, so even though I know this party is going to be heaving I'm hoping the size of the club will help a bit. And if not then it should at least be a real show which will help matters :)

Good thing about Privilege is when it does get rammed, you can usually find somewhere to duck out the crowd and have a bit of space, be in up on the balcony, in the garden (which I love!) or the Vista (old Cocoloco).
well, i went to the last so called closing party and i was scathing about how poor it was. The garden was overgrown and not looked after and the whole place was generally poor. I am therefore delighted to hear the news that it looks like its having a revival...I recall the Manumission days and a return to half that type of buzz will be superb.

This past year out on the Isle I talked to a random clubber and they didn't even know what Manumission was! I didn't start going to the island until 2015 yet I still knew about it!

I can be there for both dates but I'm not a big Cox fan. Still would be nice to hear some proper music in that place. Hope there's budget left over for a bit Ibiza spectacle in there too!

Can't decide which date to choose 11th or 18th... maybe anyone got anymore info of the rest of the line ups?
