PRIVILEGE WILL BE THE NEW HOUSE OF CARL COX

Carl Cox returns to Ibiza in 2017, not weekly but a series of one off parties held in the mythical club of Privilege

If on January 01, Carl Cox gave the first indication of his return to Ibiza in 2017 with a shirt that read in the front: Pure Carl Cox Ibiza 2017 and in the back: Game Over. Last Sunday 15th, the artist offered a great track for the followers of his Facebook page with a photo taken from the windows of the Vista Club of the Ibiza Privilege nightclub, with which he unveils without doubt of where Carl Cox will be this next Summer in Ibiza.

Although last year Carl Cox said goodbye to Space Ibiza and his friend Pepe Roselló, Carl knows that a summer without being present in Ibiza, is not a summer. A new party, that will be put on in Privilege, one of the great clubs of the island.
 
dont know if theres anything in it but another ibiza page on facebook has a picture of CC outside of Amnesia with the caption "Winter in Ibiza is a great time for meetings".

It may just be the page looking for likes as there is nothing posted on CC official FB.
 
I'm pleased for Privilege, the last 2 years you might of even of said it was on its last legs, and how could it go on much longer.. Music on and Carl Cox will bring in masses of people, and money which in turn you would hope they might use to update the venue!

Es Paradise could also do with having a re-think about their summer season program, something like Roger Sanchez old Release Yourself night would work great there
 
Not sure if i will be willing to pay 50€ in a rammy place such as Privilege ,butmore willing to see Cox , 15€, as in Benimussa & close to dj booth
I didnt seen a lot of spotlight at Benimussa :D even , ive post that everybody should go there because a to do party, without naming Cox in the topic,even i was sure 99,999 he should come ,someone made about after ssSSHH

Was feuckin lucky for my first day in ibz for closing 16 :), went to meet a spotlight uk girl (she showed up , good girl , with no late :cool:) for the first time, having kfc in pdb as she was starving, decided to discard Ocean beach around 5.30pm, as no time for it even planned & came there at 8.30pm just 15mn before cox took the decks :p

Carl Cox gave a major hint about his plans for the 2017 Ibiza season when he played the Carl Cox & Friends party at London’s Tobacco Dock on New Year’s Day.

Cox played his entire set wearing a t-shirt with the logo “PURE CARL COX IBIZA 2017”, whilst on the same day a Facebook page under the name made its first post, stating simply, “Ibiza 2017... We are coming for you!”

Now the Facebook page of Game Over, the logo featured on the Pure Carl Cox Ibiza artwork, has posted an image of Vista Club, alongside the caption, “When nights flow into mornings... #IBIZA2017 #DoYouKnow?”

You can see the post below, which has sparked rumours Cox is set to take his Pure brand to Privilege’s 2000-capacity sister venue, Vista Club.

We have reached out to Cox’s representatives for comment.

The original post on the Pure Carl Cox Ibiza Facebook page, which read, “Ibiza 2017… We are coming for you!”, directly linked to the Game Over page. You can see that underneath the new post from the Ibiza brand below.

Vista Club, which used to serve as Privilege’s second room until it was converted into a separate venue, has been the host to Ibiza mainstays including Do Not Sleep and Solid Grooves, as well as being the first space Elrow made their home on the White Isle in 2012.

Cox also recently revealed that he will end his Global Radio show after almost 16 years of broadcasting. He announced it will come to an end in February in a Facebook post last week (Monday 9th February).
