I'll throw in some faves then:
Saint Etienne - Only Love Can Break Your Heart (it's a tune that just makes me think Ibiza, even though I've never heard it in Ibiza and certainly wasn't in Ibiza until a good 10 years after its release)
Sasha - Xpander (one of the few trance tunes I like and I never tire of getting lost in its 10 minutes)
New Order - True Faith (i prefer it to blue monday)
Underworld - Rez (sounds like an army of drummers marching on you)
Leftfield - Open Up (good example of the big guest vocal)
The Prodigy - No Good (Start the Dance) (requires no explanation)
Primal Scream - Come Together (screamadelica's my fave album and if not the best tune from it, it's prob the most danceable)
Liquid - Sweet Harmony (guessing they're British?; my fave rave era tune)
The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar ('you should feel what I'm feelin'/you should take what i'm takin'')
Burial - Archangel (biggest tune from Untrue promotion-wise, though would prefer to dance to Raver)
There's stuff mentioned before that I would consider very good electronic music, but would be way too slow to get me on the dancefloor (The Beloved, The Streets, Massive Attack).

you include St Etienne but omit The Beloved ??? both pretty downtempo imo
also, I think there is a case for including The Streets on the back of the ashley beedle mix, which beefed it up
Glad to see someone else loves Star Guitar! 8)
It captures the E vibe perfectly for me, having that beautiful, symphonic quality.
The great 'lost' Chems track though is 'Life Is Sweet' - one of the tracks that helped shift me on from indie music. I dunno if they like that one much, as it's on neither of their singles collections.
the best chemical brothers track imo was nude night - brilliant house music
