Pikes charges €30/person for canceling a table, so maybe we'll go eat and see what that Monday has to offer. If we don't like it, we can easily get a taxi from there and drive to Akasha or Paradise Lost.

I guess its to stop people booking multiple things for a particular day, and then cancelling the ones they don't fancy.

Causing a problem for the venue with lots of empty tables they already planned for in the kitchen.

Happens quite a bit in uk and causing problems so intro of cancelling fees or deposits

I do understand that, and have read pieces about customers doing just that (multiple bookings for one night that they decide at the time and then no show the others). That is not on.

Surely there’s a middle ground of a notice period for genuine cases of people needing to rearrange (or in this case the venue changing a previously advertised event).

Groove Armada looked excellent the last time they played earlier in the summer.. Harvey will be a one off too

I've seen GA countless times over the years from full-on gigs to Lovebox specials and they always guarantee a good time. No mucking about party pleasers.

H offers something very different. Basically, the best dancefloor acid trip ever. You have to be really invested in the tunes and I get that it won't be for everyone.
