PIKES 2025

I've seen GA countless times over the years from full-on gigs to Lovebox specials and they always guarantee a good time. No mucking about party pleasers.

H offers something very different. Basically, the best dancefloor acid trip ever. You have to be really invested in the tunes and I get that it won't be for everyone.

I didn't stay for inside. To be honest, it was touch and go as to whether I was going to go at all, because I felt so rough. Very pleased that I made it though.

Arrived some 15 minutes into Harvey's first set and it was still fairly spacious at this point and musically quite plodding. The tempo was etched up in carefully poised increments. Personally, I thought Harvey was very pedestrian but there were still some nice moments.

Chris Rea's Loving You was one of them and then he followed it up with a dub version of Bee Gee's Tragedy, pitched right down.

The best track (for me) he played which I was able to Shazam was this one:

By now, there was a nice crowd - really super friendly and very invested in the music, but not overly busy though still busy enough. Occasionally, there was the odd person filming on their phone. Very few and far between though.

However, it was when Artwork jumped up that things got taken up a notch the the place exploded.

There was some David Morales, Rojo Sangre y Fuego, El House and a great communal moment for Frankie Knuckles Your Love.

But the favourite thing he played which was new to me was this:

Great to see some faces, including @Buckley and his missus and also some authentic Ibiza characters, such as Duzi and Lucy Fizz.

Eager to here how things progressed inside. Now, really looking forward to Monday in Freddies!

It was me you met not @Buckley 🤣.

Inside was really good from what i remember, as i was well lubricated from long day on the ale from getting to airport at 10:30am, had some soft drinks later on to perk me up a bit. My missus and her friend left at 3:30am and i stayed till gone 5ish. I remember the changeover from Artwork to Harvey was class, atleast to me, Harvey played really hard from memory, was a great night.

Just tagged the wrong person! promise 😬

Glad you had a good one mate

Been watching the vids. Atmos looked absolutely electric at both indoor sessions.

Not too sure about that Billie Eilish but i’d guess it’s a real huggy moment at the end of the night

What's the deal with pikes during the day? Keen for some day time music with recent developments on the island. Is the pool during the day reserved for hotel guests only? Diners? Or is it OK to pitch up for drinks? Couldn't find anything on pikes website. Thanks

You can definitely just rock up and have drinks by the pool etc. daytime pikes is such a nice vibe. There’s (normally) always beds free to chill on.

You can either book in for lunch or chill and order to a poolside bed. If I want to head there in the day I tend to book lunch as a courtesy and mention in the comments that it’ll be poolside.

Thanks for this. Great to know

Pikes was good last night, mella Dee was great. Super busy, no need to worry about big line ups elsewhere it was heaving! Left just before close, easy taxi and then spent a few hours in a random bar in Ibiza town sat outside drinking tins of estrella with some new friends from pikes til 7am 😂 Great night
