This is starting to look really bad! This is probably the worst scenario I could have expected, after Harvey cancelled! My mouth is starting to taste like vomit just thinking about it. I need to check what the cancellation period is on the table reservations. I really don't want to count on the lottery that the main star of the night is indeed one of the ITE DJs!

Heidi will be good on the Saturday but generally Pikes looks pretty grim that week.
Who knows, maybe we'll turn up at Morales instead and party like it's 1997

I'm sure if you explain the situation about booking to coincide with Harvey, they would be happy to move the booking to another night at the very least

This is annoying. We're flying out on the Monday specifically to go to Pikes, as have somehow never been in five previous trips and thought we had a great balance of Mercury Rising / Kevin & Perry / Cocoon.
Is it a case that they won't announce who is playing until you get there? Don't really fancy seeing the same DJs that will be on at Kevin & Perry the following night - only so many times one can hear Silence. But there doesn't seem to be much alternative that night so will probably still take a punt on Pikes.
Who is dropping the hints? Pikes or One More Time?

I had to check for myself that there is zero notice period for cancellation! That is scandalous - it’s Pikes ffs not a 3 Michelin star destination restaurantPikes charges €30/person for canceling a table, so maybe we'll go eat and see what that Monday has to offer.

Causing a problem for the venue with lots of empty tables they already planned for in the kitchen.
Happens quite a bit in uk and causing problems so intro of cancelling fees or deposits

I do understand that, and have read pieces about customers doing just that (multiple bookings for one night that they decide at the time and then no show the others). That is not on.
Surely there’s a middle ground of a notice period for genuine cases of people needing to rearrange (or in this case the venue changing a previously advertised event).
Id say the special guest will be Artwork?
