Just spotted that. A few people not happy re the Freddie's situation.

Only mentions Rob da Bank as the DJ for the day. (Says RBD + guests on the website) but no word on who will be the regulars / residents for the Sundays if any?

Hope the new team can work things out, pikes is the one place ive heard no one on here really disagree about and its always spoken of highly , they have a good thing already and i hope they dont start to change it so much it looses what makes it.

Rock Nights presents 'Casino Chips' at the Pikes hotel. This year's theme takes inspiration from the iconic casino chips of Las Vegas, which will change their design at each party.

May 23rd - OPENING – Miles Kane One Man Band
June 6th - SUBTERFUGE DAY – Silvia Superstar
July 11th – 19TH ROCK NIGHTS ANNIVERSARY – Marc Dorian dj set
August 8th – Black Honey dj set
September 19th – CLOSING – Sören Manzoni

Guests will be accompanied by Rock Nights residents: Colin Peters, Lola Von Dage, Manel Simone, Sr Cardona, and Diego Calvo.

Don't miss the classic karaoke in the bathroom, live tattoo by Paul, or the Playboy Pinball. Rock Nights will be the official after-show for the concerts of Dorado Live Shows held at the Venice Bay space of Concept Hotel Group. The series brings an eclectic lineup without losing sight of guitars: Crystal Fighters (acoustic), Sexy Zebras, Carlos Sadness, Niña Polaca, Santero y Los Muchachos, Sarria, Killer Barbies, Cintia Lund, Julia Nar, and the Ibiza locals Niños Raros.

So is this something I missed before, very possible!, or part of the changes this year?

With Plaza Mayor going until 4am this has to be inside due to the noise regulations, no?

Anywho. They've gotten away with a couple of parties in there after noise complaints from Sunset... sound doesn't travel so much from there I guess
 
Going Pikes for the first time on 25th for Back to mine with eats everything, never been so excited to check it out! I heard the capacity is small so wondering what time would be best to arrive? They open 10pm so thinking to head there around 11pm

will be there aswell with my mate, were going to head up around 10.30/11pm @stivi sure you told me before but leave around 3.20/3.30 to avoid taxi rush?
 
I will also be there on the 25th for back to mine! Thinking of starting pool side around 9ish, then heading to the garden before finishing off in Freddies!
 
Aspects of Rob da Bank's personality would be well-suited to Pikes - certainly the wackier features of Bestival would be a laugh (the Miniscule of Sound, the Find Bez competition, the Women's Institute Tea Tent, the Inflatable Church). Not sure he has the best business brain though and is probably pretty scarred by the legal grief they had. Lovely guy though. Wish him all the best.

Everything I hear about him suggests he is a Nice Guy (as long as you don't ask the people that live near the Camp Bestival site in Dorset, they DO NOT like him....)

gotta link? or something you heard? I know that he gave IOW ressies discounted tix to Bestival and was big on the clean-up (but that's going back years so I don't know about Dorset)
