surprise surprise: MONZA CLUB (frankfurt) in ibiza..........

.......... at the old angel's in paseo juan carlos I (ibiza town)!! 8O



as some of you might remember after its not-very-succesful comeback as angel's el cel in 2002 they announced that the club would reopen as penelope in 2003 but it never happened (they even created a website and put ads in various magazines announcing their parties, including two gay nights)!! :roll:

this winter someone told me that they were planning to reopen the club again and that they were doing some reforms but i spoke with the woman who lives there (yes, its owner rented it to a couple like a normal house :? ) and she said that rumour was not true!! :oops:

well, global radio just announced that monza club will have a party every thursday at penelope, featuring m.a.n.d.y., tiefschwarz, josé de divina, etc!! :o

on a curious note, the club is owned by javier cabau ibañez (also owner of the hotels piscis park in san antonio and don quijote in figueretas)!! :idea:

When does it open? How big is the place? (approximate capacity)
 
i hope its still there. it was very funny descending to the dancefloor through the slide!! 8)

So they will finally open! 8O

I wouldn't bother going to some Penelope on the mainland (crappy and ultracommercial music), but they might do more seriously in Ibiza, or they won't last long. I did like Scandal last year at Pacha, wild wild party! And Balearic People was known as a good party too.

Yippee! I'm really excited about this one.

Especially glad it's opening on that date as I wasn't too impressed with the Pure Pacha line-up.

craig richards, vera and all the regulars on the mustang parties at monza club are also coming to ibiza for that new party on thursdays :!:



most of the djs mentioned above are actually sharing the same villa this summer..........
