· penélope ibiza is owned by the madrid business group "gonzalez & ugarte asociados"

· now the entry to the reformed club will be in av. 8 de agosto (instead of in paseo juan carlos I like in the past to avoid traffic and noise problems with the neighbours)

· it will have 4 different areas: three rooms and the terrace facing paseo juan carlos I

· their pre-parties will be at the old chupito in the port, now renamed penélope puerto

But that's in a touristy location, isn't it? and that's Ibiza! They had to foresee it before buying apartments beside a venue which has lots of years there. It's a similar case to Pin Up. Now they are building apartments beside and thus they had to shutdown.

Another thing very different would be if Penelope wanted to open a club in the middle of Av. España or Av. Ignacio Wallis, were the all-year residents live.
 
26 hours before its opening and well, a little bird who is just back from penelope informs me that theres still lots of work to do inside!! :?

they are even talking about moving the opening from tomorrow to sunday..........

3 hours and a half and nothing is connected, nothing is working, nothing is finished, they are still doing the gardens, inside looks like a complete mess..........

.......... the problem is that they contracted the people who do it cheaper (and dont know shit in some cases) so they had to find other guys to finish it during the last days!! :roll:
 
just received a text message saying that its not 100% sure yet. i will text them back to tell them how illusioned you are to show your outfit but i cant guarantee you anything!! :roll: :lol: :roll:
 
the doors opened with a bit of delay and at 1am there was still people fixing some stuff but it finally opened!! :P

I noticed that in the bar area up the stairs to the right of the entrance, there was the smell of fresh paint everywhere and the black walls and bar were still a little sticky :lol:
 
whats that on the flyer: breakfast at we love space till 8am????

anyone heard anything about scandal from yesterday night??? any news on how it was?

the afterparty from 8am with sebastian gamboa, etc. nothing new, exactly the same than when it was at privilege..........
 
oh, ok.

last year i was at balearic people at privilege and then i went to we love sundays but did not have any idea that it was an after party there, i thought that all day its we love sundays..

about scandal @ penelope any news?
