party-defining tunes (old and new)

was in the mix, very much on the classic house tip but can't get it right today. here's a few gems that would've been in there

the Tears b side. someone put me on to the dub a while back. utterly amazing H.O.U.S.E. that inevitably gets overlooked

Perhaps not one for the purists, but keeping in line with original theme of the thread (which has lost its way), this tune definitely defined a great period of raving for me and my mates.
We had heard Sven vath play it in Newcastle, then he played it again a few months later at shine in Belfast. This was peak raving times for us (2010 ish) as we were all at uni etc.
The tune became our go to track at house parties that year and it remains so everytime the gang gets back together.

That's exactly what happened last year when I was at not just any Warehouse, but THE LEEDS WAREHOUSE, with my good Thai lady who was visiting. We were literally walking out the door, 4am, and I heard LFO mixing in. Dragged her back inside to the front.

"WTF IS THIS?!?"

Was pretty much her reaction :cool:

It sounded real good on the Funktion One Dance Stacks.

awesome. 30 years old! snippet on TOTP Story of 1990 which is ace!
