Yes, I know.
Real GP this one given its chart success but the Perfecto version gave it a lovely polish. That immediately obvious bass line gets me every time.
Tune! Saw them live in Exeter in '94. They ran out of songs and had to repeat everything twice
This was my fave. Our DJ used to play it week after week. Kelvin from Sure is Pure looked a bit startled a few years back when I went up to him (a little bit refreshed) and said it 'changed my life'. Epically proggy. Probably a bit dated but so many warm memories.

this past weekend I was clubbing again, I did pyramid closing as well as dc10 closing.
both luciano and ricardo at pyramid as well as carl craig at dc10 played octave one's blackwater.
such a tuuune still - and it worked perfectly at both parties, it were two different version, completely different settings, different vibe, different BPM.

Its a great tune...so uplifting especially the version with the vocals. Always hard to get into a set as its a fast BPM but when it comes off it's such a moment!
