Just out of interest Bez how long do you usually spend in Ibiza over the duration of a year and how often do you go clubbing?

The old bill wouldn't ask me that....if you read my blog you will find a few posts on the subject.

it may be far-fetched, but i did just check agendas of various DJ's and found David Guetta playing in UK on 20th June which is a Thursday. If he stays on Pacha Thursdays then that would be a bit strange. What do you think?

Good spot.;)

There are big changes at Pacha for 2013.

it is also interesting that Morillo took out again all announcemnets for his Opening Party @ Pacha. It could be that Pacha want's to announce all changes by themselves.

Of the 2 DJ's you mention, I suspect one will go, one will stay...and the one that departs, I think, will be heading to a new club managed by a poster on this thread :)

Bad spot, because Guetta, Fedde and a lot of other DJs play 2-3 gigs in 24 hour period several times throughout the summer. In this case he's playing in London in the evening and his Pacha slot is 2-4 or 4-7. You can see one of his announced dates overlaps with Monday @ Ushuaia, doesn't mean he won't be playing there.

I think its a risky but potentially good move on their part to let go of big names like tiesto and guetta.... there is ALOT of new "Talent" out there, like avicii afrojack nicky romero blah blah blah and they can easily book them for residencies at a much lower cost and get the new generation of kids through the door every single night with no problem

Interested to see what happens there this year, I didn't go once last year and there isn't much that interests me there anymore, Subliminal is not what it used to be, and I avoid Guetta and Tiesto!

Anyone remember Underwater, used to love those nights, also Subliminal 10 years ago was quality, as was Release Yourself! Any news on where Rog Sanchez will be this year out of interest?

Guetta missing one of his nights due to a prior commitment might not mean his night is changing
had it been a one off commitment it might suggest something
but given its a series of tour dates - he may just well miss one night of the season

just guessing of course

All his dates for the Rhinanna tour that fall on Mondays or Thursdays are in the UK and in a city that has an airport. I'm guessing he'll be on early and will have more than enough time to fly across for a set at Pacha. I imagine his Ushuaia Mondays (if he still does them) will be just July & Aug.

John Digweed playing at Pacha Festival Amsterdam...

If the rumours are true Friday's are looking good!

Warm-up with Peter Tong @ Ushuaia until Midnight, and then Digweed @ Pacha OR Marco @ Amnesia!

right....he's said it himself in an interview, so here's a bit more news about pacha 2013:

Pulse: Take us through your year so far - what have been the highlights? Guy Gerber: The year started in Mexico at the BPM Festival, where I spent two amazing weeks with endless parties in mesmerizing locations. After that I spent a month off in LA working on the concept of my new night in Pacha Ibiza called 'The Wisdom Of The Glove'.
