Don't worry, we'll swap you a week in Ibiza if we can't be arsed with it this year.

Always wanted to do a cruise around the med.

just add some extra beans.

Fancied a week in Ibiza this season too, but she seemed genuinely shocked when I started explaining about DC10 and the antics that go on.

Mrs Midlife is not a massive clubbing fan but I took her to Ibiza for a week in a villa and she loved it. We went to WLS at Space and DC10 and the rest of time went to the awesome beaches and restaurants.

It helps that Mrs Midlife is a very very naughty girl....

It can cause loads of problems if you and your partner are on different sides on this particular subject! Two of our good friends (a couple) came to Ibiza with us in September. The guy, is totally bang on clubbing, loves getting on it and going mad  , and has been doing little'uns since he was a teenager.
His girlfriend, HATES all kinds of drugs, isn't a big fan of dance music and does not like him getting into a state!

Anyway, we all went to Beefa, had a brilliant time, but they did have quite a few arguments during the course of the week, mainly due to one wanting to do another night of clubbing, the other wanting a quiet meal in Ibiza Town

Agree with Chewie - I think a lot of non-clubbers have quite a few misconceptions about clubbing i.e. it's going to be like a scene out of Blade, all strobe lights, hardcore techno heads out of their chops and scarly gurning..

Take her to a smaller night, or a more mainstream night (Hed Kandi for e.g.) and she'll probably love it.. then you can start to introduce her to other types of electronic music..

Having said all that, you CAN go clubbing clean - it's all about the music!

Stay clean and see what happens mate. If she turns out to be 'the one' it'll be worth it and if not it'll run it's natural course and you'll back at it in a few months. What will you have missed out on for the chance of finding the love of your life? A few months caining it, that's all.

How long ago did you split from long term gf and how long have you been with the new one?

Was going to take her to Jeff Mills at the End, not sure if its such a good idea though!!!!

I wouldn't enjoy Hed Kandi myself (no offence anyone), although I see what your getting at, she probably would.

Split from the ex about two months ago. Been with the 'current' two weeks, but things are going really smoothly, lot of chemistry etc...

Christ mate, that all's fairly near to a pretty big break-up. Careful not to transfer the significance of your long term relationship on to the next person you meet. I did this again and again after a 6 year relationship myself. (Ended up with multiple girfriends   )

Either way a break from 'recreational aids' will help you sort your head out after the break up and you might have been very lucky and met the right person straight away, So... what have you got to lose?
