NYE/NYD 2015

Also, I thought I read that Solomun was at Pacha NYE, but when I've seen that he's playing elsewhere on NYE? Or does he just have a private jet that takes him around for various different NYE parties?

well look, for dc10 on NYD there is normally one really big headliner, a few other well known international names as well as some of the circoloco resident DJs. the only thing I said is that it's likely to contain some people that play in MAD or BCN on NYE/NYD at some point.

I'm sure we'll soon know more... :)
 
Is there a list of restaurants that are open NYE? Anyone willing to recommend some? Time to reserve a table I guess.

Do you have anything to say about which restaurants would be the better choice during NYE? For example Kuypiddo, if open, could be nice if there is a lot of fireworks...? Do KM5 or similar places usually have something special going on so maybe it is worth going there for the whole Night?
 
neither kuypiddo nor km5 will be open for NYE as far as I know. might be wrong though.

most restaurants open on NYE have a set menu which starts at around 9 or 10pm and goes until about 1-2am with dessert etc. people here spend 12 o' clock in the restaurants eating the 12 grapes.

Can't find any news on restaurants or happenings preferably in Ibiza town on NYE. On NYD I am supposed to be at a kind of crazy circus all day, near the airport! ;)
 
well the circoloco line up for NYD is out now, I'm sure you guys have seen that. then pacha opens with solomun, that we know too. I'm sure underground will open as well, but they normally don't announce a line up or anything.

as for restaurants, some of the fancy places have started announcing - cotton beach club, la belle ibiza etc. other restaurants you just have to call them (or message on facebook) to find out what they offer on NYE and make a reservation.

as for afterhours after NYE and after NYD, still too early yeah. I don't expect any info to pop up about that until short before christmas to be honest.

normally, pacha vip is really affordable in winter, but for NYE the same prices as in summer apply - which means 250€ minimum spend per person and minimum 2 people per table. so if you're two people it's 500€, 750€ for 3 etc... it's bottle service and bottles start at 325€ (or from 375€ if you want champagne).
 
Do people dress up more for New Year @ Pacha? Or is it just regular clubbing clothes? I'm not really that fancy!

there's both. lots of people wear normal clubbing gear, but in spain it's also pretty traditional to dress up for NYE/NYD. so don't be surprised if you see men in suit & tie (or bowtie) and women in a little black dress in pacha or even in dc10. it's actually a pretty fun mix always. but the standard ibiza rule is still valid - anything goes.

Hi !
We'll be in Ibiza with my gf for NYE/NYD.
We already have our tickets for Pacha and DC10. Last time with solomun was this summer with Oliver huntemann, and last Circoloco was in Amsterdam :D

For NYE dinner do you have any recommandation for a nice restaurant ? It might be a bit late to make reservations ?
