The problem is that most of the Pacha nights are similar. I think this will backfire on them and end up ruining the club sooner than later. It's all pretty commercial nights and even with the one off guest nights, it really doesn't matter.

Personally I loved the Yo****oshi nights with Behrouz. He brought consistency in terms of knowing that his sets would be amazing and also variety in terms of bringing something new to the table each night. After he left, I felt the void in the parties. I also think that due to the split between Ali and Sharam, Deep Dish is not the same. They are both pretty much going their own ways, and this would have drastically affected the future Yoshi nights. I know that they have some shows booked together but it looks like they are not playing with eachother as much, hence why they each did a GU CD.

My worse Tong memory was at the Closing one year - we had Danny T, then Deep Dish (and this was before Deep Dish got too big for their boots :lol: so it doesn't get much better than that) then Tongy stepped up at 6 and I've never seen such a mass exodus from Pacha :roll:

Yes, one of my most memorable nights in Ibiza. Behrouz, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia and Tongy doing the Pacha closing. MASSIVE.
 
at Pure Pacha in June 06 Tong played a blinder of a set - if i wasn;t so drunk i would have remembered individual tunes 8O:oops:

I don't get it, do you agree with Barbie (and misunderstood her message) of don't agree but for some reason use the word yes in your first sentence which implies that you agree, or are ypu being sarcastic. I hope the last.

Anyways, I would dread the fact that Tong is playing after the likes of Deep Dish and ****in' Tenaglia. I would join the exodus and head off to Space with the whole crowd!! Just move the damn party to Playa d'en Bossa :lol: 8O :lol:

RENAISSANCE PRESENTS SASHA..........Thursdays at Pacha, Ibiza 2007

last week i won 15 million squid on the lottery so as from 2007 i will be funding a renaissance 'renaissance' every thursday night at Pacha. I have already spoken to Geoff Oakes a couple of times and he seems keen on doing something spectacular and reinvigorating Renaissance back into the hearts and souls of dancing folk around the global.

Sasha is fortnightly resident in the main room supported by Jason Bye (weekly), someone is coming out of retirement to "love groove" it in the global room every week. Pippi is hosting the Funky Room, playing beautiful ibicenco house music.

Entry prices will be reasonable €20-30 and will include 2 free drinks.

Opening party Thursday 14th 2007

Is that true?? If so, very exciting :D Renaissance on Wednesdays at Pacha used to be one of my fave-ist nights in Ibiza.

errrrrrr......... the latter sounds a bit homoerotic for me.8O :lol: so like my blag above, i'd leave the promotion to those that know best and give geoff and sasha a ridiculous budget to come up with some revolutionary concept.
