First let me say hello. My first post on these forums. Skulking for info as returning to Ibiza this year (2007) for our honeymoon. We got engaged 11 years ago on the island so thought it apt to return.
As for the Canaries here is what I would say. Gran Can was rubbish, I hated it. It was Gay Pride when we went 4 years ago and that sort of helped as Playa del Ingles in mingin. Just think Blackpool.
Been to Tenerife the last 2 years (kids love it) and we have taken babysitters with us so we could sample the nightlife. 1 big (well sort of) club exists http://www.trampstenerife.com/ and it is a very nice club and much cleaner than I remember Privelege ever being.
This Thursday runs July and August and has some big names from the UK and get this one, ENTRY IS FREE.
You also get one off nights like http://www.tenerife-uncovered.com/wbblite/thread.php?threadid=15000 (check out that line up, GLOW STICKS)
It's difficult and expensive to get sweeties on The Reef but nosebag is plentiful.
If you want some more advice on The Reef then check out http://www.tenerife-uncovered.com/wbblite/index.php
Hope that helps
