Hello everyone,
My friend and I are due to come to Ibiza tomorrow (our 3rd visit in total, just the two of us this time) for Ushuaia and Space closing parties.
However, reading some reviews of Ushuaia have made me slightly nervous. There are numerous reports (most recent I read being 3 weeks ago) of the security staff being extremely violent towards guests and what's most shocking is that most of these victims seem to be women!
Being a tiny person (5"2 with a petite build) I tend to get pushed and shoved a lot in large crowds anyway, and with the combination of a packed venue for the closing party and these psychopaths they seem to have employed as security staff, I'm actually quite apprehensive about visiting the venue.
Our previous experience of Ibiza security staff and clubs have been OK - staff always seem moody but not threatening and clubs are usually busy but there's room to breathe further away from the stage if you need a break.
Can anyone reassure me that they (the staff and Ushuaia in general) are not that bad? Tips on how to avoid any trouble? Or should I cancel my ticket now if I don't want to end my holiday black and blue?
Please help, I was so excited and this has put a bit of a downer on it!
Still absolutely buzzing for Space on Sunday, though
