Must see Nights for 2007

Ah cool. Am I mistaken in thinking there was a Mulletover residency at Space then?

yeah mulletover host the discoteca in the mornings, 8 til 11 I think on sundays. But they generally have a few parties during the season with space as the 'afterparty' to these secret parties.

The one before WLS closing last year (which I didn't go to grr!) was, as told to me by a few workers, the best party they went to all season along with the cocoon closing afterparty. On some villa high up in the hills.

As for cocoon after party, I've never been to one but they tend to change their locations I think?

I would quite like to check out Azuli because it's one of my favourite labels, only problem is that the opening party is my last night and I'm not sure if I can face the journey home completely knackered. Did Cream on my last night on the last visit and getting home was eventful to say the least.
Advantages this year are that we are flying with Easyjet so at least we won't have an antique plane with no legroom whatsoever and will therefore be able to sleep, are flying to Belfast instead of Dublin so will only have a 40 minute bus trip instead of 2 1/2 hours, will be on an early evening flight instead of being up all the next night too and will not be accompanied by someone who drinks to oblivion and is extremely sick at every opportunity.

I've had mixed results on the party -> hotel -> airport run.

Two years ago, the missus and I were in dire shape the whole way home after going straight to catch our morning flight.

Last year, we got a couple hours of sleep before our afternoon flight and were generally ok.

All depends on your flight schedule, stamina, and ability to travel without vomiting

Haha. Mine last year was a nightmare! Left WLS went to our room, admittedly across the road, in a complete state. Barely packed, had a 20 min nap and then had to be out for the 10am flight. My eyes were so sore that I didnt put my contacts in and had lost my glasses so was pretty blurry as it was. Worst thing was the flight had a stop over in Valencia for 3 hours (never fly Iberia!) and dont think I said a word to anyone until Id had a couple of hours kip at the stopover airport. after that though I was right as rain! :)

This time an afternoon flight is non negotiable.

That's what happened with us 2 years ago. Went straight from the club to the hotel to pick up our things then to the airport for a flight at 8:30 or 9. Got delayed by a half hour so we passed out for 15 mins in front of the gate. I do not remember the flight. Then a 5-hour layover in Barcelona, compounded by the fact that we changed airlines and Aeroflot only starts check-in 2 hours before the flight  Passed out in the departures hall with one limb on each bag, eventually checked-in and felt better so went for food and shopping, but overall it was our worst journey ever! Just painful the whole way...

I don't usually drink too much when out or get up to any other naughtiness, the tiredness is the main issue for me, so on the whole I would rather be able to pack before going out then come back, grab my stuff, go straight to the airport and sleep on the plane. It's the day's hanging around which leads to the world going a little odd. The experience last time was terrible because we had to hang about all day, didn't get back to Dublin until 10.00pm, half an hour after the last bus to Belfast and had to sit there all night, during which time one member of the party had to go to hospital to have his sunburn examined after which he and two others decided to get stuck into the alcohol they had brought back with them. One was incredibly sick which led to us having to wait until the third bus of the next day, she was then sick on the bus and we didn't get home until the early afternoon. Most of us went straight to bed, the one with the sunburn went to Shine! :?
