Moreso in the past than nowadays. Carola was really the DJ which got me heavily into "underground" (let's not start, eh) music. I'm not so keen on where he's heading musically the past few season (funny, as longtime fans would probably say the same about what he was playing when I was getting into him!!)

I dunno, there's just something about that terrace at 10am on a Saturday morning. It's a shame it's not a thing anymore. Will I go again? Maybe not. Wouldn't rule it out though.

Yes! That left hand side spot was where we got last year, even got on the 'official' photoso_O. Not a good look at 4.30 am. .:lol:

Love this party though especially when Paco gets on the line up
 
I know only truth can Hurt :D otherwise you may explain to us, how to enjoy this party with no Drugs, Can we?
Is there anybody that can raise the hands & say i like this party i dont do Drugs?

Me! Both times i've been to this party and just been drinking(not that I want recognition)....I do agree Its a struggle when you get to the later stages and you are crammed in.

The best time i've done this party was at bpm festival, room to dance, room to sit,half the price of a ticket £30 and it lasted till 9am , and the venue was outside...plus the best set i've heard doing Music On party was with Paco Osuna b2b Marco Carola.

aug 5th 16 Music on with mates keep on insisting, join us there, i have left fancy place with House Music at Lio (on a gueslist) packed of the most beautifuls girls on the island (at 4.00am, rushing to pdb to buy tickets at 70€)to a place full of boys (average italians, not the most nice welcomin blokes in the island :lol:) smelling sweat like hell :D

Funny when you put it that way and it continues to pack out year after year. I wont lie as if i've never gone myself, but as I do like Carola, I dont find myself at his events much these days. Side note, best I've seen Carola in a long while was BPM 2016 on the beach 8 hour set through entire afternoon into early evening, that to me was one of the best ways to experience Marco and it was way less of your aforementioned crowd.
 
Be interesting to know what % of the punters who go Music On actually enjoy the music. Because I know a lot of people like with Circoloco who just attend because its a "Cool" party; in doing so taking up valuable dancing space.

I must confess Marco is one of my favourite DJ's and that groove infused Music On sound is my favourite.

OMG, if one picture sums up what I remember of MusicOn then it is THAT. I was thinking of giving the Main Room a try a few times this year, but that picture has reminded me why I get frustrated with it

Stand out sets for me was, Joey Daniel, Leon as warm up played alot of tech house at bpm..before Paco&carola took to b2b and played some very heavy techno straight off.

Faraone & leon again at amnesia was also great warming up the terrace for Carola (both times) especially Marco in the last few hours before closing time gets very heavy on the tech. . Which is what I like and come to expect.

If you can get past the hustle and bustle its a good party in my opinion
 
July 4th 2014 - Hector opening the terrace for Carola. To this day the best "warm-up" set I've seen in Ibiza.

Still gotta catch Joey Daniel.
 
Any news on when the line-ups might drop? Or at least some news on who's involved other than the usual's. Hope Apollonia have a few dates again and one when I'm there! Missed them last year!

Two times I went I was hoping for the grooovy techno and it was just hard techno, I liked it but wasnt want I expected. Hope at the opening he plays that kind of music

Yes I get what you mean, closing day one 1 was bored...I wish i went to closing day 2 as it had the more groovy techno, something about carola just bores me as well. Maybe cus he always looks moody..think he has resting bitch face like me lol

Only been once or twice few years ago Never again most over hyped/rated party on island
