Anyone make it to the Mosaic Pre-Season Party at Pacha last night?

I was there. was solid, but personally didn't think it was anything groundbreaking. people enjoyed it, maybe it was just not my night who knows.

Cox will smash maceo as its the last ever shows he's doing at space and it's the first year for pacha. The 2 parties could easily coexist on the same night as they don't really share the same market. Yea there will be some tough choices on some nights but cox will win hands down on the numbers

Carl will be pulling out all the big hitters. His last year and Space's, all the big guns will be out for this each and every week.

Whilst I like Maceo, this night has Wisdom of the Glove written all over it i.e very good night but only appeals to a select few enthusiasts. Hope it's a success right enough as some of the folk playing are excellent but honestly, if you are on the island and it's Tuesday, Carl's last ever residency on the island, are you really going to go to Pacha and stand with a couple of hundred people as opposed to a chance to see Space rammed one last time?

The booth is in the same place as at the Solomun party's?

almost.

oh I think it'll do much better than WOTG. I also don't think it'll be packed, but it's by far not as weird as wisdom back then. also, people have warmed up to seeing 'underground' artists at pacha now. that was different when guy tried it the first time.

I guess the few Tuesdays after Cox finishes will be busy though, including the closing when I'll be there I hope
