Mosaic by Maceo @ Pacha 2017

Haha, i hope so!
1 question i will ask though, do you remember what time he played till?

I couldn't say for sure. we sort of dropped in and out of it...in a way we wanted to stay on the terraza in the daylight, but that year coxy didn't feel great and so it was fanciulli playing alone for most part (instead of them doing their regular b2b) and so we ventured inside a few times...it wasn't that busy inside anymore sadly (I'd hazard a guess and say 10am ish we went one last time?), but he played a blinder of a set then.

The costume work for Mosaic kinda reminds of this vid (I actually love this track too, but it's not techno). The lineups are good but it's gonna be hard to get away from Priv and Hi on the same nights. I said it before, but they need to up the ante on the dark artsy feel they have going on. I really hope they do, even though those dancer outfits looks mad uncomfortable to wear! But they can get something else less cumbersome with the same or greater effect to give it that unique edge that some other parties might lack. If they do go all out with it then it might be enough to sway me away from Hi or Priv. Kudos to Maceo for sticking to his guns and putting on lesser known artists on his lineups.

01/08 Anthony Parasole (source: ostgut)

Parasole is an underrated hero in my opinion. Biased of course being from New York and he is a guy who grew up playing over here, but he is a guy who can play opening/headlining/closing sets and never disappoints.

What's his predominant style and speed, chris? I see he's on ostgut so that provides some insight!

Well he plays techno, in my opinion comparable to maybe like a Len Faki type style. I've seen him headline nights and also seen him open nights countless times as well as close here and there. For me, he is just one of the few who knows how to play to a room at any given time of the night, one of the best techno nights I've had in years was February of 2016, Parasole and Faki for BLK Market in Nyc, 4 hour sets each and it was absolutely perfect music wise. I think, any techno fans who know of him would pretty much echo my thoughts, you can get a pretty good idea of his sound from his soundcloud page. Definitely not a very well known name necessarily but he can hang with the best of them.

I can second this opinion very very good DJ seen I'm a couple of times now all at Fabric and he's never disappointed.

My guess is that 6/6 night will get people excited for Mosaic early in the season with Tale of Us at Pacha. But 1/8 with Klock and Parasole might be the top night of the year lineup wise, also notable 15/8 with Rodhad of course. I'm very impressed with how these lineups worked out.

again some fantastic bookings for the funky room (prism for mosaic)

- steffi & virginia
- the drifter
- architectural (fantastic producer, have a listen guys)

generally a very good line up also in the main room. very very strong musically.

Looks okay. Opting for prydz July 11 at hi and Privilege July 18th so might have to miss this. Is Maceo doing outdoor jams at Destino this year? If he is, i might catch him there
