It's not essential. I didn't rent a car the first few times I went (though someone in our group often did). I was very glad I did rent one the past couple of years. At 20 euros a day, it's cheap enough so why not?

I dont think me + a car in Ibiza goes together!

I remember last year after being out clubbing for four days, my hands were shaking so much I couldnt take my contact lenses out!

A calmer time is on the cards this year I think
