Spread small doses of drug and 84,000 euros for sale in sa Penya
The National Police completes the anti-drug operation in sa Penya has broken up an organized group known as 'Clan of the Paca'

The National Police station Ibiza and the Police Headquarters in Balearic Islands has completed the so-called 'operation Jibe' with the disarticulation known as 'clan Paca', dedicated to drug trafficking, which operated in Sa Penya. This is the predominant family clan in the neighborhood in recent years.

This performance, which was held last week, was the result of an investigation conducted for eight months by the Group of Drugs and Organized Crime Police Station Ibiza.

The data obtained during such research allowed to know that this clan worked as a real organization, with a perfect division of roles between the investigation. Thus, they possessed a point of sale of drugs to addicts located on the street Vistalegre. Inside of it were always one or two people responsible for the adulteration and drug distribution to final consumers. Around this point of sale, the organization had an extensive safety device consisting of several people who were responsible for warning of possible police presence in the area.

In the aforementioned point of sale, the organization had only small amounts of drugs to be distributed immediately, which were replenished as they were stocked. This supply was made from the numerous properties with those who had the clan in the district of Sa Penya, having always stored the drug in the same place as they were alternating hiding places, to make it difficult if any police action.

All this form of action was directed and coordinated by the matriarch of the clan, known as 'La Paca', which also was in charge of acquiring narcotic substances they had investigated. To do this, contacted with the collaboration of another of the detainees, which lay on a floor of Via Punica Ibiza street, where he went home to 'La Paca' to stock.

In all, at the end of June 9th house searches were conducted, of which six sa Penya, two in Cas Serres and one on the street Via Punica. To this end a comprehensive device more than 50 police officers from the police station in Ibiza, Prevention and Response Unit and dog handlers of Palma de Mallorca was organized. Also, due to the existing reinforced doors in the homes to be registered, counted with the collaboration of an endowment Park Fire Consell de Ibiza.

In the course of this device we proceeded to the arrest of thirteen persons investigated five women and eight men.

In the homes of the main investigation, 'La Paca', and one of his daughters more than 24,000 euros very fractioned were found, with a significant amount of coins, all from the profits from drug sales.

During the investigation learned that one of those detained, a nephew of 'La Paca', could have a significant amount of money from drug trafficking that would be saved at home of a relative of his wife it was also taken. Therefore, we proceeded to the registration thereof being located in the neighborhood of Cas Serres where 60,000 euros, well split, which highlights the presence of more than 800 € 50 banknotes were seized.

In addition to the 84,000 euros, the operation has resulted in the seizure of more than one kilo of heroin, 328 grams of cocaine, 200 grams of hashish, 14 grams of MDMA, several adulterants, vehicle, jewelry, mobile phones, one air gun, two simulated guns and various weapons such as white daggers, knives or katana.

The entire operation was supervised by the Court of Instruction No. One of Ibiza and it participated agents Brigades Judicial Police, Public Safety, Immigration and Scientific Police Station Ibiza, being reinforced the device with agents from Palma Mallorca Unit Prevention and Response (UPR), and dog handlers with dogs specialized in detecting drugs and money.

Cruise ship passengers from Quebec busted in Australia after $30 million worth of cocaine is found in their luggage


Next stop: prison.


Three cruise ship passengers, including two young women, were busted in Australia after authorities found a whopping $30 million worth of cocaine in their luggage.



Isabelle Lagace, 28, her 22-year-old friend Melina Roberge and 63-year-old André Tamine, all from Quebec, are facing life in prison after 95 kilograms of cocaine were seized from the Sea Princess cruise ship on Sunday.


Australian Border Force officers boarded the ship when it arrived in Sydney Harbour and conducted an extensive search. They found the cocaine in suitcases belonging to the three passengers.

"Sydney is highly attractive for cruise ships ... so we're continually risk assessing the cruise ships and the passengers that come by air," Australian Border Force Commander Tim Fitzgerald said Monday, according to AOL.

"This particular cruise ship — because of the nature and the amount of ports it had been to — was considered quite high risk in itself."


The three suspects had all boarded the ship in England in early July, but authorities are unsure which port they used to transport the drugs, according to the Star. The two young women had been documenting their trip on social media.


"First time in Papeete and not the last one," Roberge wrote on Instagram two weeks ago as she posed for a picture with Lagace. In her most recent photo five days ago, Roberge wrote "jungle selfie" as she posted a picture of herself in front of branches.

The suspects are facing life in prison.

The Australian Border Force said the arrests were the result of a joint operation that included Homeland Security in the U.S., New Zealand Customs Service and Canada Border Services Agency. More arrests may be coming.
