they were founded by englishmen (a bit like FCB) so the anglicised version of the club name has stuck;)

Really? Interesting that... I heard a while ago that the first football team in Russia was founded by some English factory workers at a small town outside Moscow.

neevr seen rafa so happy as last night. proper smiling and stuff after the game, he'd never admit it but i think the whole jose-rafa show hurt him. he'd rather just do the football bit.

yep the juve story is true too.............don't they still play games against each other periodically.

so all in all, italy has strong historical links with the english game, bet they were gutted when watford stitched them right up with luther blisset instead of digger:D :D :lol:

No excuses United were dire tonight, they needed a big performance and just did not play well whatsoever, at this level you cannot expect to play like that and get away with it, Celtic onl;y lost 1-0 against Milan and were robbed of a cast iron penalty, they are good at home but i believe United showed them too much respect, pity a United v Liverpool final would've been amazing.:?
 
I suppose City fans are laughing tonight, but then again United fans would laugh at them constantly seen as City haven't won a trophy in almost 3 decades :lol:

I NEVER assumed it was a dead cert whatsoever, id never be so stupid to do that against a team like Milan, i did say i thought United would go through but i never assumed it was a dead cert.

If you're talking about Ronaldo (ladyboy), well he is one of the best players in the world after this season.

And any United fan who says Ferguson should go needs their head examined.8O

exactly I read on 606 even at 2 nil down the man u fans were saying they'd get the two goals back easy in the second half and then thrash Liverpool in the final! Oh the arrogance of some is just8O:oops: 8O 8O 8O :oops: :oops: :oops:

Of course he has a long way to go before he can be as good as those players but if he keeps going the way he does he will be.
