Mcdonald's breakfasts

Sin or Super?

For me personally, I don't eat McDonald's. Too many calories and too much junk in their burgers and chips  However my one weakness is a sausage and egg Mcmuffin in the morning. I restrict myself to having only about 2 a year, but I have to say, when I do have one, man are they good!

I got in work about an hour early today, didnt have time for breakfast, there's a McDonalds next to me work so I popped in and treated myself

Agreed, but bacon and egg for me

Most of the time I can't face them, but then there is a random day when it has to be done! Good on you Becki, I think treats for the body are good - make me smile!

I think Sausage and egg mcmuffins are lovely, I'm with Becki on this one.

In Hong Kong, you can get these all day long - not just for breakfast 8)

mmmmmmmm

Personally I can't stand McDonalds breakfasts, I think they're rank. I'm sure the odd one isn't gonna be to bad for you though.

I'm sure Maurice would agree thats because they are all morally corrupt over there.

Only had them a few times...too much grease.....The eggs taste like rubber but the bacon rolls and hash browns are lush. mmmmm.

I can't eat McDonalds but if I'm hungover give me a vegetarian sausage any day of the week

when my ex was up the duff, she ate veggie sausages morning, noon & night!!! :?

No food is really bad for you in moderation and as part of a healthy, balanced, mixed diet (unless you shouldn't eat certain foods for specific health reasons/allergies etc).

I've really gone off Maccy D's lately (apart from the salad things which are ok) but am still partial to a Burger King. Glad i don't live in the USA because i like Wendys, In n Out burger, and all the others a bit too much

I do normally just have cereal or toast for breakfast, but this morning I was feeling especially naughty and bought a Mcmuffin :( It is the first one Ive had this year!

Becki, I sympathise with you. When I feel naughty I have some Mcjunk and to be honest, it's disgusting but once a year doesn't feel taht bad ;)

Haha, beleive it or not, I haven't bought a sausage and egg mcmuffin this year either, but I really took the notion this morning and got into town nice and early so i could go get one. But when I got to the door, memories of SuperSize me came back (ive not been to McD's once since) and I turned round and went up to the office early. In saying that though Ive already mucnhed my way through 2 packets of nobbys and a litre of fanta 8O

Holier than thou moment (please don't shoot me)...

I tend to get on my moral high horse about things like that (I can't help it! )

I've not eaten a McDonalds in years and genuinely don't understand anyone who can.

It's not because of health reasons either.

Does no one have an ethics policy in their buying habits on here?

It's like buying products that are tested on animals for goodness sake!
These f*ckwits fund war arms, cut down rainforests and are infecting the world like an incurable cancer!

I take it those that eat there don't mind having the big evil corporate 'M' logo staring them in the face on every street corner?

Someone please explain...

:? "I like cheeseburgers!" Grrr.

you organise a group of tree hugging hippies to open a co-operative in Welling Hig St, knocking out stodge, grease, shit & fat filled badness on a Sunday morning and im there mate!!! ;)

Seriously - are you telling me that's the only breakfast option you have???

...and I'm not going to rise to your bait. ;)

(but apathy is the biggest problem we have in society imo)

Off to do some chakra dancing/tree hugging & meditation before my afternoon re-birth appointment.
