I have yet to meet someone who has stopped using this. I know of 5 people who have read it and started again, they say it's great though, but how can it be :?

Mr Scoobie had smoked 40 a day since he was 15. He gave up using the book and hasn't smoked for 3 1/2 years now.

I read Alan Carr and he annoyed me so much that I ended up smoking even more, I wanted to ram 40 Camel lights in his mouth and say 'shut up you stupid American preacher' :twisted: :lol:

Patches are the only thing that 'cured' me :lol:

Forstly, thanks for pointing that out, apologies for the lack of recognition. I thought the situation would have been obvious.

Though well done for leaving the correction and explanation in place. A simple deletion just wouldn't have been the same, eh?

Patches can have a 100% success rate if used correctly.

Stick 'em over your eyes. Then you cant find your fags. Job done.
 
And I know a bloke who had never smoked at all and died at 23. Whether the bus driver was smoking at the time of impact is not known.

My point:

Anecdotal evidence of exceptions to the norm or percieved norm mean f*** all with the sheer volume of data involved here.
