mallorca calling, for 4 days

never been, wonder if it can be compared to Ibiza in any way?
we dont know where we will stay, most likely Palma or Magaluf as we have ordered a uspecified ticket so we will know the destination when we arrive. Wonder if that´s a good or bad thing really!

But nevertheless I hope the weather will be nice!
 
well I-G, mallorca is very nice as well! palma de mallorca (town) is very nice and i've been told the north of the island should be very nice!

if you want to go out, there's BCM and another big club (don't remember the name thought)!

and i think you go in the right season, springtime is very nice there!
 
I really like Mallorca, specially the north and the in-land. Palma is a wonderfull charming city and as you off-season I'm sure it won't be packed of loud tourists.

It can't be compared to Ibiza cos it's really really really big.

I am happy that therw on´t be lotsd of tourists, I plan to only sleep, eat, have lots of sweet wine and fruits and treat myself and hubbie with good books, long walks and some tanning lol* ;)
 
When are you comming? I want to know it be able to give you better advice. If you tell me you comming this weekend I will tell you rigth now if not, I could give you a better advice as I would have more time to writte down special places!!! :D :D :D

If you can avoid Magaluz it would be better, it's very spoild.
If I were you I woul visit Palma, ask to go to the Cathedral, Cort, where there is also you favourite sport: shopping, go to la Plaza Mayor, is everything quite together so you cannot miss it, have a walk in the Paseo Marítimo de Palma for me one at the best ones.
Hire a car and go to Valldemossa, Deia, Biniaraix, spend the day in Valldemossa and Deia it's beautiful and quite diferent of Ibiza. I would't miss it.
The sceneary in all the island is similar to the one in Ibiza. , if you want to try to go to Portocolom it is also very nice.
I dont think the weather is apropiate to go to the beach but if you go try to go to virgin beaches we have very nice ones:

I went twice last year and I quite like the place.

Palma Nova is a nice place to stay. Its just around the corner from Magaluf. It has a nice beach a few nice places to eat on the front and if you want something a bit more lively then its a 2 min taxi ride to magaluf.

If I was to use a comparison with Ibiza it would be San Antonio=Magaluf and San An Bay=Palma Nova.
 
I think it might be either Palma,Alcudia or Magaluf. We have ordered a uspec. vacation, meaning we have to go to either one of the designated destinations they have.

So these are the 3 places...but its most likely that we end up in Magaluf, as this is where the entire plane is going and it would be weird of them to drive us to the other end of the island, when the rest are staying in the other end.
So let´s "pretend" its magaluf, palma nova or palma :-)
 
we dont have a noption...we bought the ticket + hotel unspecified, so wherever we go, im sure we´ll be fine. We just want relaxation, and dont want a major town with shops and stuff. back to basics with some sangria, a good book and a little luving with da hubbie1

That's it, Palma is very nice and Magaluz is very spoield. I know you can choose but don't stay all the time in Magaluz catch are a car and explore Palma and the Island, what about Valldemossa and deia?

im going on the 7th - 11th. 3 whole nights 4 whole days.
cant wait!
I want to go to have dinner in some really nice place similar to KM5, Bambuddha or something. Surely there must be a place like this in that area?? we could end up in Alcudia also, but the company doubted that since all their guesta are going to the southern part of the Island.

so any info please would be great!
 
Hi, I cannot help you in this, I suppose they migth be some places like this, but as O don't normally go to this places I cannot recomend you any. Sorry about it.

Mallorca is such a beautiful Island, like some others have mentioned Magaluf can be a bit British yob territory but you will be fine this time of year. Palma is amazing esp at night when the cathederal is all lit up.

For clubs hit either Pacha or there is another great club in Palma I think it's called Titos? Don't go BCM it's awful IMO.

It's different, more outdoors areas, mostly spanish, entrance fee is much cheaper but I cant remember how much... maybe 15 euros?

The prce of an entrance to Pacha is not got anything to do with pthe prices in Ibiza, about 15 euros I will ask my brother. And yes the other disco is called Titos
