London, Oct. 21

I spent all my youth clubbing outside London, what I'm saying is you're inevitably going to get some tourist tits who don't know how to behave more in London clubs than say in Manchester/Leeds clubs etc just cos more people visit London.

The embarrassing thing is - that wasn't aimed at you Babs!!! :?:?:?

It was a genuine moment of London snobbery! :oops::lol:

I can't bear to go out when I go home to my parents...unless it's a country pub.

Terrible isn't it! 8O

But genuine - probably makes me sound like a right w@nker but I'm approaching 30 so I think I'm allowed to be a bit discerning.

Oh listen to me! => :lol::lol::lol:

:lol: :lol: :lol: So we're not been pretenious w@nker snobs we're being discerning :lol: I'll remember that one :lol: ;)

I think if we follow up our sweeping statements with a buffer like, "probably makes me sound like a w@nker but..." then we'll be fine! :lol:

I can't stand clubbing outside London, it's rubbish. :lol::lol::lol:

It's true! I couldn't go out in Bristol again...and Brighton - urgh...as much as I love the place it's full of students.

London beats them all by a million miles. You have to go to Barcelona, Berlin or Ibiza to find places that compare...or Cardiff. :lol: See how silly that sounds?

Oh...and that's just me being a pretentious w@nker by the way. :lol::lol::lol:

It is true that nothing has quite compared to london clubbing...

oh rob, did you ever go to some club outside Yeovil in the middle of nowhere (some ex military bunker in the middle of the somerset countryside with no major towns except Yeovil (armpit of the earth) nearby) that was somerset's only club with a 6am licence that had Mark EG as resident and played incredibly hard hard house 8O

it was a mad place 8O and had the chavviest crowd I'd ever seen. Only went once and was too scared to go back again. It didn't have an alcohol licence either :lol:

closed down now :?

YES! 8O

...and Mark E G was my fave at the time - still love his mixes - complete nutter!

btw - that doesn't count because it's an outdoorsy hippy traveller affair. :lol:

I'm disappointed that no one's jumped in to defend their home town.

They probably haven't got internet yet! :lol::lol::lol:

8O hippy type traveller affair? Someone got stabbed there, it was certainly a bit rough 8O but not hippy rough 8O

(I wish I'd gone again, it was properly filthy. But it closed down when I was about 18 and a half)

There isn't even a club where I come from! Do working men clubs count? :?

I have always preferred clubbing in the midlands and up north to London, much better atmosphere and people are better dressed. Although I am going back a few years now :lol:
