Life and Death @ DC10

This (August 7th) is one of the best parties I have ever been to on the island. Main room only, 'perfectly' busy nights are the way forward at DC10, Mondays and Wednesdays are too rammed and the crowd sometimes isn't great (very subjective and personal opinion I know). This night is definitely helped by Music On swallowing a vast crowd.

I went to the Innervisions takeover on the Saturday last year in August at DC10 and the vibe was very similar.

Tennis played a fantastic set, and Tale of Us seemed back on proper form (they went off the boil for me a little at the back end of 2014).

Think I'm am def going to check out the last Friday in August. Sounds a brilliant night.

agree.

enters august 2014 set for them was not at their standards.
 
Wonder if there is any chance they will extend this into September with the success it's been? September = even more than enough people around into good music!

hows the scene during september? attendance ?

i went in june, july, early august and late august, but never september.

I don’t live out there, but my favourite time of the season to visit is the last 6 weeks run-in to Closing weekend. So basically anything from 24/25 August onwards. I quite like the last week of August as it’s not crazy early August busy, but still feels very peak season. And then early September….. a lot of the EDM parties are over as the kids are back at school and the people that are out usually know their music. Also, not that age matters but a lot more 30+ people in September. Basically anyone in the know knows you do Ibiza in September….
 
I've always been out July/August previously, going in September this time though and am very glad to hear this. Am a little concerned that with a few reports of numbers being a little lower for some parties in peak season (Cocoon, Enter) then this will mean even lower numbers in September when the island as a whole is less busy.

Or, as a lot of those EDM parties are over will that mean there's more of a focus (and greater numbers) at the parties that remain?
 
The more I think about it the more I think i am going to skip Music On and give this a go on August 28th. As I love Marco and it will be my buddies first on the island i wanted to show him more of a party vibe but i think he will have to live with the Life and Death party (no pun intended). I was just a little concerned as have been getting mixed reviews about Tale of Us sets recently but people seem to think they are in good form at these parties and with Tennis and Mano on the bill i am guessing its got to be a good one. Plus Music On will always be there, never know if these return next year.

that night will be all about dj tennis (who's on fire right now) and mano le tough. I'm certain this will be the busiest of the l&d nights, but it will be still bearable don't worry. not gonna miss this for sure.

Yep! I am in for this one too!
 
Seen a few negative comments about Tale of Us recently. All I can say is that they have been exceptional both times I have seen them this year.
 
Seems there will be a few of the forum in attendance for the 28th date - I literally cannot wait now!
