pendulum​

even if we all thought it would rain tonight, weather has been fine and ibiza rocks
finished in style..... i have been told they sold more tickets in advance online for the
closing than for any of their previous parties (the double apparently). i missed the
whip when they played at the first xbox weekender in july so, after the very positive
comments i heard back then, i really fancied seeing them live... they didnt disappoint
at all. the apotheosic finale arrived with pendulum and their drum&bass with guitars,
who created the most frantic mosh pit we have seen during the whole season.
i really gonna miss these gigs..... what we gonna do now on tuesdays?​

ibiza rocks closing

i know it was the closing party but out of all the gigs - i have to say it was great - i've taken photos all summer but this was the one where i went "sod it - i'm watching the band"

Another season of Ibiza Rocks with Sony Ericsson has come to a close. ​

Massive thanks to everyone who made it so special - from the mightiest superstars that bestrode the stage to the hordes of sun seeking revellers who came from far and wide to join us. ​

In particular we'd like to thank our triumphant triumvirate of party starters Pendulum, The Whip and Iglu & Hartly who saw the season off in style at our closing party last week. ​

Judging from the crowd they're all welcome to return so expect to see them back on the White Island sometime in the future. ​

We may be packing things up on the White Island but we're still heating up the small screen with Ibiza Rocks TV. ​

Keep watching 4music and Channel 4 each Wednesday and Thursday night for all new Ibiza Rocks action from the 2008 season. ​
