Kneeling in a club during a breakdown

Here's the photo but it's very, very bad unfortunately :?

I was there too.
What a crap thing! Not something you'd expect to do in a supposed to be "cool" club.
If it wasn't enough they made us do it twice in about an hour....utter rubbish!

fergie if your ever in dundee make a trip to the reading rooms, you wont have to look far in there

Whats it like in there? Haven't been out in Dundee in ages

its hit and miss, although occasionally you get SLAM or the likes of mylo popping up.

you never have to go far before someone passes one to you :) or vice versa! Id advise you to take a torch though, its pretty dark, and the dancing, well lets just say it isnt exactly conventional. These a lot of music weirdo's go there. Its like the underbelly of the student nightlife in Dundee (that hardly any students actually go to). Get a lot of loud dirty grindin house music in there. From what i remember anyway!

Haha, they probably just said, here shall we see if we can get everyone in Ibiza doing that kneeling thing this summer? We'll start it off at WLS and everyone will be doing it!!!

Yeah, because people in a cool club should just pout, pose and try to look good.. :?

Look, im not saying its a great thing that should catch on or that everyone should do it if they dont want to (thought the booing was a bit too much) but its just harmless fun that you probably only do when youre on holiday because youre having the time of your life with your mates and in a very altered state ;) Im sure some people that are so against it now wouldve acted differently had they been there.

hey im not sayin i wouldnt have done it had i not been there, but from a sober man's point of view sitting in a drab office in drab scotland, its hard to get caught up in the euphoria of ibiza dancefloor quirkyness!

i hope it doesnt catch on, id kneel, but id probably cringe as i did it!

what other trends could you start?

It was done already last summer in DC10...

Hey, I'd completely forgotten about that! It is a bit cheesy but it's quite effective when the beat comes back and the whole place suddenly goes from sitting to pogoing!

Why not? If you got flaunt it I say! ;)

I go out to dance and try to have a good time as much as the next man, I found that crouching down really silly, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad in one of those cheesy joints at San An but not something you expect to do in Space.
The DJ f*cked it up big time the second time anyway when he got the people to jump at the wrong time. I simply don't see the point!

Beside that I didn't want to crease my designer trousers and funky shirt or in an even worse case scenario someone could have ruined my perfectly styled hair and break my very expensive shades when getting over excited jumping! :P

*yawn*

back in the day (double yawn) peeps did loads of these games and they were huge fun. its a bit of a shame they died out really.

one thing they do do though is bring everyone on the dancefloor together in a *nice* way. a communal moment. (hippy-$hit alert)

bubble's t-shirt idea is brilliant though.
