Kneeling in a club during a breakdown

Have you noticed how "pop"-ular you become when you pull out a bottle in a club! People swarm over to yer and get yer drinks and that for a go!

Once exchanged a bottle for a LARGE bag of something more expensive (and higher class) than poppers!
The lad who swapped with me didnt realise it was on sale behind the bar

So true  I always get a flock of people clambering round me in Space after a little sniff  I might follow your lead and start offering them in exchange for something  ;)

Sitting down on the ground in a club is actually a "tradition" from South America, from Uruguay I think. It's about showing respect to a tune or dj.

I witnessed this at Space opening, it was when the dj played Faithless. I think it's a cool thing to see 8)

That was the tune I heard it done to too, Insomnia 8) Were you with Mark on the podium at the time??

this sounds very shit. i hope this trend has died out by the time i get there.

me too!

i think id start laughing if i saw that. sounds a tad pretentious. i can imagine all those who werent on supllEments would have had faces like 8O WHADTHAHELLISGOINONHERE?????

On a visit to the club I went to every week when I was at school I discovered that over here, they touch the floor then tap the bottom of their chin with the back of their fingers (with the knuckles pointing forward). Strange behaviour indeed, right up there with the West End drinking-shots-then-being-spun-round thing.

Yeah I was next to the podium with mr. Sun. I have some crap-quality photos (taken with my mobile phone) of people sitting down in Space, I'll post them as soon as photobucket is up again. :D

Never understood having a spliff in a club? Does it not make you wanna sit and chill?

Would with me :?

Me neither.

Lots of spanish lads walking around smokin spliffs in Pacha last year.. asking everyone if they wanted a hit.

I don't get it. When I'm at a party I want to be "up there" if you know what i mean... when I get back on the hotel balcony in the morning though.. 8)

It's very common down here :D
I love my spliff in a club, but of course only if I'm in something else ;)

I was right in the middle of it too, right infront of the dj box to be precise with my spanish friends

It was weird but at the same time I was so off it that it was cool....
