So altogether, when would be the best time, and what specific day would be best to go to both restaurants?

House music also taken into consideration..........

What's the Mao rooms about? I have never heard of it, just another question, I once published a question about this but I didn't get the answer, can I just droop into Babundhas for a drink?

jo, Ibiza girlie, looks like I following you :?

Sure you can, check www.bambuddha.com - but I´d go for dinner and lounging afterwards. the place has is all, a sushirestaurant, a main house, a toystore with authentic hippie clothes, a jewelleryplace, a lounge, they sell cd´s - yep the whole package. sounds tacky but believe me its gorgeous and they serve heavenly drinks in the bar there! awww sigh!

Mao rooms I´ve learned is owned by china white in uk, its a loungy bar supposedly verygood

You see the problem is that we going to so many places, we are going to be nine days, so as they said me that Babundhas is very expensive we dont'n know if we should have dinner, what is the price for person (+o -). We going to have dinner at km5 wich is the best of the two, are there simillar?.
So many days, so many places to go and have dinner I do not know if I will be able to survive the rest of august. The last to weeks of august we celebrate the fiestas of where i live in Mallorca and i will be spending some money so i don't know, but your tempting me so I will probably de perdidos al rio, go to Babundhas, have a good time and the same will happen every day while I'll be in Ibiza, I will think sólo se vive una vez and the rest of august who knows!!!
Sushi, I love it!!!!

well they are similar in some way but Bambuddha is more hippyish and a bit more commercial. it has a store where u can buy stuff, a garden with arab furniture, a bar, a main hall and a lounge. very big but yet intimate place. the km5 is more like a souk or kasbah with more classy tables with real dinner napkins, nice china and round dining tables and a tad more expensive.

I like both and have a hard time choosing feom the 2. Bambuddha has starters around 6 - 12 euros (avoid the mix of starters if u dont like deep fried food which i dont) - and a mail course will cost approx 15 - 30 euros depending of your choise. the chicken is giooooooood, the beef a bit tasteless. desers are around 6 - 8 euros. the winelist is good and a bottle of the cheapest yet good wine will cost 20 euros.

so medium expensive but a really good experience!

The Mao rooms was closed when i was there a couple of weeks ago, anyone know why?

when I walked past they had a sign on the door saying that they were closed due to problems with the electricity and that they would open again the next day...

going back to the original question, i went to both last week and the rare tuna steak at Bambudda Grove was much nicer than the meal i had in KM5. This is not normally what i would have expected but credit where its due etc.
