Kanya open by July 1st?

Anybody have any up to date info on Kanya, did'nt think it was going to be ready this soon...

I was under the impression that there would'nt be a hope in hell's chance of Kanya being open this summer (?)

I'll be the happiest person on this site if i'm wrong though as Kanya is one of my favourite daytime places and I was gutted to hear it wouldnt be ready for when me and my mates get there in August.

Perhaps McRakin - can give us an update?

according to kanya ressie rob burne its expected to open this sunday but i reckon it wont be ready. colin peters (manumission/da, da, da) told me last night that what he heard is that it will be ready around july 1st!! :idea:

btw, the new da, da, da party will be a mixture of electro and rock music (more electro at kanya and more rock at demiedo in ibiza town)..... yes kidz, rock at bar m, rock at extasis, rock at kanya..... rock here, rock there, rock everymother****inwhere. lets see whos the next idiot who says "i think that there should be a law or somthing to ban all non electronic music from ibiza" (classic phrase).....

- not really Mr McRackers. The more musical choice the merrier I say. Not sure about Westwood though. The return of the big dog is a step too far !! I for one would refuse to bow down and kiss his ring.

why is Kanya shut in the first place ? I loved it there last year, was out there with the heat crowd and sundazed

and... also... why do the refit in the summer months surely its hotter for the workers and everyone involved, and surely they miss out on trade at the start of the season. Don't get it
 
I hate Coastline, too sterile.

The old Kanya was much better :cry: Same with Bar M, why did they get rid of the tree house.

i've got a bizarre pic from the late 90s of a young and unknown yousef (altho didn't realise till recently it was him) struggling to get up the tree to dj:lol: :lol:
