Is tourism in Ibiza at breaking point?

They should start taxing TNL a tourist tax who are making millions a week off everyone first!
You could do something like % of ticket price goes straight to local government.

Make it progressive so < €30 5%, < €60 15%, < €150 40%, > €150 50%

But then they might say "free entry, water €100" 🤣🫠

If a tax goes to a certain cause, then the local authorities will spend less other resources on that cause. The only solution is fewer tourists during the busiest months, and slightly more tourists during the shoulder and off-season. Ibiza is an island. This can be done.

Also a total ban on short term rent of residences.

Just related to this, is there less capacity at hotels at the minute, with inability to get a full complement of staff?

I ask because the number of people of people asking for "anyone got a room/sofa" etc is really high this year due to high prices and/or just finding low availability at hotels.

Thanks
