Hmmmmm. Well that'll be a shame, but to be honest, while it's bad, I've never been to DC10 or Space on Monday/Sunday before 12 anyway.
I've done a few carry ons, but I like the idea of all sorts of cool underground places starting up. Maybe its time things like that went back underground for a bit. Or for ever?
I'm going to make the most of next weekend while it lasts![]()
I don't get the entire scope of this article...call me a dumb blonde, but does this mean that this year theres going to be no day parties, just night time events???
At the time of writing (September 23, 2006) two clubs held parties during daylight hours - Space and Dc10.clubs close at 2 am in 99% of places in the US....with the exception of New York.
so, what is this article trying to get at???
DC has some places that close at 3 or 5... can't get a drink after 2 thoughclubs close at 2 am in 99% of places in the US....with the exception of New York.
so, what is this article trying to get at???
I don't think people will get too upset about the changes, should they occur as expected. I think the "get there at 8am" fashion for the daytime parties is long gone... no problem waiting until noon/early afternoon to carry on...![]()
Really, I disagree, I find myself and most people I know tend to get to aftershows pretty much as soon as they open - the absolute latest I get to any Space aftershow is about 9.30am - I dread to think what minxiness we'd get up to if I got in from one club at 8am and had 6+ hours to kill before another one started![]()
It could all go very wrong couldnt it! At least if your in a club you have some "laws" to stick to!

I really don't think the powers that be have thought thru the implications of stopping day-time clubbing for the likes of us![]()

Shall I start a petition? It could be detramental to a lot of peoples health ( well yours and mine and a certain hardcore few, who I wont name for legal reasons)![]()
I think a petition is just what we need - something in the same vein as the Bora Bora petition cos that really worked
