This thread has put my mind at ease anyway lads were saying san an can be dog rough which i dont mind but getting older want ot avoid it less and less cant wait to go there now staying in the marian apt's from 1st to 15th of august so hopefully see some people over there love trance music mnyself so san an seemed like the ideal spot ala tropi and decent trance nights are all close by.
Is there anything particularly wrong with staying in San An?

You can wear pretty much whatever you like. Rules are much more relaxed than those of clubs in the UK. Some people dress up for show, some people dress down for comfort.
Although, arriving at Pacha or Space in full cyber gear might turn a few heads and raise a few smiles.
I'd seen a girl in Pacha last week dressed in Cyber, no one really blinked an eye to be honest. although she did look a bit out of place! She was sat next to an older very well dressed French couple on the terrace outside.

Well the Trance thing is great, cause while we love all kinds of music we do love Trance above all. We'll probably hit up as many of the big clubs as we can fit in during the week and are planning on taking the bus around. As far as the drunken rabble rousers go, that shouldn't bother us all that much, we're pretty easy going so as long as they don't actually try and start some #### with us directly we'll probably hardly even notice it.
As far as dress goes I think we'll do casual yet comfortable club clothes most nights, maybe going all out on Tuesday for Armin at Amnesia, or Cream like we do for some of the bigger parties over here. Here are some pics from San Francisco's LoveFest party and what the girls wore, they said to ask if its cool to wear stuff like this there, and if others do it too? They don't want to be the only ones going all out
My bro and his wife and family etc. got caught up in the middle of either Lovefest or Gay Pride march one day they went up to the city to hang out. Said it was an eye-opener!

San antonio is fine.
plenty of things going on, alot of hot girls, cool people. sure there are alot of loud drunk people but so what.
next time i go i will stay in san antonio again.

You will have a great time in San Antonio. I've stayed over the other side of the island and I think a lot of San An is loads nicer than Playa D'en Bossa and Figueretas although they obviously are nearer to Ibiza Town.
Your outfits look fantastic and will totally fit in at the trance nights you are planning on going to. I hope you are planning on also going to Tiesto on the Monday night if you like that kind of thing

Tiesto kinda sux, has for a while. We're only for sure hitting up Cream on Thursday, Armada on Tuesday, Judgement Sunday, and maybe the foam party or Space. The rest of the week's events are still up in the air at the moment.

Each to their own, I went off Tiesto myself for a few years but he was right back on form last year. Judgement Sundays would be my idea of hell personally.
