Is Portobello any good on a Sat?

Hello, hello, I've finally got my internet at home!!

Babs, you'd be proud of me, I was out the house this morning at 9.30 to get to the big topshop. It was a lot more bearable than usual and I bought a pair of boots with my birthday vouchers. :p Started to get a bit scary approaching midday so I did a runner to the library, which was much more enjoyable. Trying to do some homework now but internet access is most distracting!!

Hello my precious, I just saw you were online and thought you must still be in the library 8O

See I told you Top Shop is best first thing ;) What are your boots like??

Are you feeling ok getting out your cave so early on a Saturday 8O  ;)

Lorna thought I'd been taken over by an alien when she came into the kitchen at 8.30 and I was not only awake but cleaning up.

They're from Office, knee high zip up grey ones with a non-teetery heel. I can't see them on Office's site though. :?

What have you been up to today?

Yeah, they've got them in a dark red and black as well.

It's hibernation all the way this weekend. We're watching X Factor and Lorna's cooking a fancy fish thing for dinner. What film are you "watching"?

They're lurrrverly, I was tempted to buy the red ones but then realised I've already bought about 18 pairs of boots this winter

Tom is watching Crash :spank: I don't know what's going on, it just seems to be full of Amercians shouting and swearing at each other :spank: so I'm going to make some shopping lists for tomorrow

Enjoy the rest of your wkend ladieeee lover xx

The red ones are a gorgeous colour but I decided I'd wear them more in grey and they look sort of 60s which I like.

I've seen Crash, it's really good, but you do have to watch it from the start coz there's lots of different overlapping plot lines. Probably wise to leave Tom to it. Have a good shop tomorrow. xxx

Babs - cheers for the Jessyg link - that's hilarious:lol:

Holly - are you aware that NoTW has a columnist called something Nelson who gives a names his plank of the week as 'Nelson's Gollum'? I think you should sew (sic)

I can imagine.

What have you been up to so far his weekend? Anything likely to amuse?

fairly uneventful really! Managed to find my way around even though they'd closed most of the tubes! Spent last night dancing badly to justin timberlake in the local meatmarket! Did you have a good one?

Fairly quiet for me as Anna's been ill all week with a stomach lining inflamation, so has to live healthy so I'm doing the same.

Played footy yesterday and my club's other teams were playing on the next pitch against team featuring Radio One's 'Chappers'. That game descended into violence with Chappers leaving a mate of mine with a very bruised bicep and one of his teamates, who turned out to be an ex-boxer policeman, knocking one our lads front teeth out with a punch from behind and getting nicked for his efforts. There were two broken legs in other games at the same pitch so the car park was awash with police cars and ambulances afterwards!

The market has only a few good stalls but the shops there are fantastic. Although I haven't been there in a few years. They did have my all time favourite label Preen there, also Debonair Debonair
