Ibiza workers - love them or hate them?

Exactly....

Sorry - I just get stuck when people resort to "text speak" when there's no need to ....Spotlight isn't a mobile phone that will charge you for two texts if you don't abreviate everything.......

As alex311279 says - It makes you look a bit daft (don't personally like the word moron)

why is it easier? because you are illiterate? or because you are rushed for time. missing out the odd character isn't going to save you any time and the more you rely of text speak the poor your literacy skills will become.

 HA, I regularly make mistakes, usually due to a lack of proof reading before I submit. But there's no excuse of txt spk.

I have met some great workers (mainly the ones that hang around Bar M) - always polite always up for a laugh and really energetic and just nice and harmless, however some (not all) of the ones that knock around the sunset strip are just so up their own arses its untrue

I love it when you may "overhear" their conversations, trying to outdo each other about "DJ's and who they've met/f**ked/snorted coke off/got free drugs off etc etc" we just take the mick out of them. 'specially like it when they persistently try to flyer you and "tell you" what club night to go to, which DJ is a god and your like "Son, I was going out clubbing and doing this sh!t when you were like 1 yr old!!!!" In a "condescending" voice (should they have annoyed me that much...:spank: ) If they havent been too annoying then I pretend I have never heard that DJ before and could they give me some information on what to expect, name the CD's they have brought out ask for track recommendations... that's quite fun too.....

wats wit the lecture!bloody hell!

This is a forum about IBIZA not a spelling forum. Come on people we dont have to jump on everyone who chooses to type in a certain way. If you dont like it dont reply to it! It's enough to scare anyone from posting again!

Anyway re: workers. I'm afraid I'm gerenally one of them rude b1tches who has NO time for any PR's whatsoever. The worst thing is you can spot them approaching you from a mile off so I normally say in a very loud voice "oh here we go again more f.ckin PR's". That normally gets rid of them

Did you see the  at the end of my sentence....

On this occasion, it means I was joking.... Not meant to be offensive...

I do cringe when I see text speak, but I'm no bully ;) :D

One kid PR did tell me that they B2B playing and he was the best evah! I had a little look at his flyers and gently explained that that meant the two names either side were going to share deck duties. Bless!

I always start each trip with good intentions of being polite and get increasingly impatient... although it isn't so bad if you don't stay in San Antonio. If they aren't too pushy I try to find time to talk to them because it's definitely a tough job, plus I am determined to be working there myself in either 2007 or 2008, so it's nice to hear about their experiences.
