Ibiza workers - love them or hate them?

Right I have been coming to Ibiza for the last 8 years and have decided that I personally hate 90% of the Ibiza workers. Its hard to put into words why but here goes!!

The ones who hang around Kanya and Coastline by the day are the most arrogant tossers you can ever hope to meet.

Im sorry but working in Ibiza does not mean you are gods gift to clubbing and the arrogant nature of the "Toni and Guy" knobs does my nut in. They all dress the same and you can bet your bottom dollar that back in England they are no marks who use working in Ibiza as an excuse to be a ****er.

Anyhow maybe its just me. Rant over

:spank:

 Loads of people say that. They are just there having fun, I have never seen any of them acting arrogant, they are normally too fcuked on K  I guess people think they are gatecrashing their private party and feel left out.

I guess if I had the job, I'd be quite arrogant...... It's like being in Brighton when all the tourists turn up...Who needs tourists....:lol:

Know what you mean though, there have been more than the usual dose hanging round Kanya the last couple of years - God's gift, all of them....

when i worked in ibiza (;)) i can honestly say i met some of the biggest nobs i've ever met, but they were in the minority.

I'm guessing slightly as to the exact meaning of the phrase, but i can confirm that most workers (in my day anyway) disliked the "toni and guy" nobs as well.;)

the workers i hated were the ones that made tourists feel unwelcome or inferior for being on the island or not being as "in the know". sure, some incidents of cluelessness are funny but everyone was there once so most are sympathetic.

btw-the world is full of no marks and nearly everyone dresses the same.;)

a lot of people can be quite rude to the pr's etc. especially the ones in the west end. they do annoy you, but i think so long as you humour them a little you can get by without being rude to them. they are just there trying to fund their extended holidays. some of them really are a bit up themselves but then thats the same everywhere you go.

hate em. I'm poilte as possible but some pale scrawny 17 year old telling me how good oakey is can fukc right off.

Agree they do annoy....though I do have to say this is one area I get really p*ssed off with.... Even when I've been totally polite and said no thank you, 3 or 4 times, some PR's do not get the hint - Unfortunately desperate as they are to earn money and get the punters in, a polite no thank you, should be taken as that....

It depends on each one really and how pushy they are. The nicest one I can remember from last year was the girl outside Ground Zero, she asked us every night if we wanted to come in and was always really polite, not too pushy. In the end I decided to go in there and I'm glad I did, loved the place.

Also the PR for El Viper bar was really friendly and not at all pushy, so we were tempted in there and were glad that we were, great place.

Some of the ones on the mian run in the West End were a nightmare though, especially when they grab hold of your arms. I took to walking up there with my arms behind my back, Liam Gallagher stylee
