The flight facilities song was one of my favorite songs of the year!

With 2012 only days away we are looking back at our favourite memories of 2011 by counting down the top 5 Ibiza Rocks moments of the past year.
If you were there for any of our choices let us know what it was like

5: Friendly Fires - Ed Macfarlane dancing with the crowd
Not content with owning the Rocks stage back in June Friendly Fires frontman Ed Macfarlane had to take things one stage further and join the crowd during their set. Starting up 'Jump in the Pool' Ed jumped off the stage and vaulted the barrier to show off his legendary dance moves with the people before fighting his way back on stage to finish the song while more than a few people around jumped in the hotel main pool. One crazy night! Were you there?

4: Example on board Ibiza Rocks the Boat
In 2010 Example supported Calvin Harris, this year he made the Rocks stage his own saying the atmosphere in August was "like nothing else I've experienced anywhere else in the world"
However, what people at the show may not have known was that earlier in the day Example boarded Ibiza Rocks the Boat as a special guest with one lucky competition winner to play live on the high seas.
It was a magic summer moment and it was all filmed for our T4 show with Xbox Kinect. If you missed it catch up here.
Who was there??

3: Biffy Clyro & Zane Lowe smash our 6th Birthday Party
It was a night to remember at the Rocks back in July as we celebrated our 6th Birthday in style. Musical Director Zane Lowe tore up the decks and whipped the crowd into a frenzy for festival headliners Biffy Clyro to bring the rock back to Ibiza Rocks. The best birthday present we could have asked for.
If you missed it check out the video below - 'Mon the Biff!

2: Tinie Tempah + Balcony + Kylie Minogue
Counting down 2011's biggest moments at Ibiza Rocks we can't help but go back to a night in July that everyone on the island was talking about. Tinie Tempah touched down on the White Isle and put on a show worthy of the sell out crowd (which even included the one and only Kylie Minogue). Tinie even made a Rocks first by appearing on a room balcony mid set for a special performance, something we have never seen before!
The energy around the place was electric and the after party at the Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes... is now the stuff of Ibiza legend.

1: Mike Skinner and The Streets last ever show in Ibiza
In September one of the most influential acts in British music over the past decade graced our stage for one very special night.
The Streets are a huge part of the 'Rocks story having been there from the beginning and on their last ever visit to the island Mike Skinner and co pulled no punches. Supported by the awesome Rizzle Kicks and DJ Fresh the band played a set packed with all their hits, started on balcony dance contests and created an Ibiza Rocks hotel room live on stage (those that were there would understand!). A crazy and legendary night well worthy of being the best Ibiza Rocks moment of 2011. Lets see what 2012 brings.

Who's coming to Ibiza Rocks next year?
