Ibiza, 10th May 2011 (FIX Ibiza).- A phenomenal wave of bands have already been announced for Mallorca Rocks and Ibiza Rocks this summer, with Plan B proudly kicking off the season in both Mallorca (31/5) and Ibiza (01 June). Added to the ultra-impressive line-up are 2manydj's (live), Professor Green, Kissy Sellout and Devlin for back-to-back gigs in the Balearics at the Mallorca Rocks and Ibiza Rocks Hotels.

To get live music lovers well and truly in the mood, there's an extra treat in store with Johnny Borrell, frontman of Razorlight, making his debut on the island with a solo set at the open-air, beachside Ibiza Rocks Bar on 28th May

We've got a couple of big surprises lined up for Wednesday. Wonder if Wretch 32 might have a special guest? Wonder if the first lady of radio might be introducing the bands onstage for our C4 TV show? Work it out. If you haven't sorted your ticket do it now. This is huge.

Opening Party Perfection!

Oh what a night! After months of planning from us and anticipation from you, Ibiza Rocks 2011 launched in style on Wednesday night.

It started with Nicola Bear warming things up, her impeccable taste as ever providing the perfect launch pad for a night of Balearic debauchery. Then came Doorly, the king of the 'Rocks decks - raising the pulse to near unprecedented levels with his usual panache. The wonderful Annie Mac was also in attendance, hosting our C4 show and introducing the acts.

On to the first live action of the night and Wretch 32 put in a huge debut show, a real revelation, with a little help from Example who joined him onstage for 'Unorthodox' and some late night Aftershow action.

The main attraction had a hard act to follow but Plan B is not not a man to disappoint and gave the capacity crowd the best Opening Party we've ever had - a triumph!

Roll on next week... The Wombats, Brother, Doorly and Nicola Bear will the lighting up the stage.
