NEW SEASON, NEW MENU, SAME DELICIOUSLY DECADENT PARTY VIBES ​

It’s the start of another sensational season on the sun-soaked White Isle and it’s all back to our House! Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Opening Party will take place on Friday 8th May, featuring an array of the islands favourite DJs and promoters playing poolside from 7pm whilst Rock Nights take over Chez Fez, Lo Cura Lounge swap pillow talk for party vibes in Bedroom 12 and Freddie’s welcomes Island heroes and special guests for surprise sets until 6am.

Since the incredible legacy of Pikes was fused with the ‘now’ of Ibiza Rocks in 2011, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes is THE place to party. Loved by bands, DJs, islanders and industry insiders, this hidden gem in the San An hills is Ibiza’s real home of the house party and one of the few places that represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic vibe of an increasingly by gone Ibiza era. With an anything goes attitude, allowing both guests and DJs ultimate freedom, House has hosted some of the most memorable events on the island, for all the right reasons. Last years’ standout parties included Idris Elba’s 7 Wallace residency, Rock Nights Ibiza Rocks afterparties, Doorly and Friends, Electric Tiger Cave not to mention special guests dropping by all summer long including Harry & Domenic, Pete Tong, DJ Sneak, Felix da Housecat, Norman Jay, Kolsch, Maribou State, T Williams, 2manydjs and Todd Terry.

To wet appetites for the all-night party that lies ahead, Room 39 will be serving a brand new dinner menu, created by new chef Lee Milne who has worked at world-famous, award-winning restaurants including ‘Restaurant Gordon Ramsay’ and ‘The Vineyard at Stockcross’. For those who would rather chill by the famous pool, a sumptuous tapas and cocktails menu will be served as the sun prepares to set and beyond.

With a real fusion between the place, the people and the unmistakable feeling of just being there, guests can get ready for the one Ibiza opening party that will kick the season off in real Ibiza style (Friday 8th May). Attitude, Atmosphere and Authenticity – the ‘House’ rules.

Following its successful run of parties last season, ROCK NIGHTS returns in 2015 to hold their weekly parties at the legendary Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel.

ROCK NIGHTS celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and a new campaign has been created to celebrate this special year properly. It is called ROCK NIGHTS presents "THE MANSION", 14 exclusive events that will be invite only. Like last year these parties will be held every Wednesday after the Ibiza Rocks concerts, from the 17th June to the 16th September. Bands already confirmed include The Libertines, Spandau Ballet, Years & Years as well as artists such as Fatboy Slim, The Courteeners, among many others.

Capturing the vibe for this summer season is renowned photographer Jordi Gomez, who through his photography has managed to convey the air of glamour, rock ‘n’ roll and exclusivity that the ROCK NIGHTS team had in mind for its new campaign "THE MANSION". Anything can happen is one of the characteristics of these parties, where the crowd is the star and the atmosphere is reminiscent of Pikes’ parties in Ibiza during the 80s and 90s, when famous artists such as Bon Jovi, Grace Jones, George Michael and Julio Iglesias were in attendance

The guests will be presented with a map so that they can go on a magical mystery tour along with the Rock Nights Girls to all crazy attractions that are on offer this year: Karaoke in the bathroom with Sunny, The Boudoir, The Photobooth, the Rock Nights Stage and the Sleeve Faces Corner are all back this year and we will be unveiling new features and surprises, such as the tarot area and the darts corner.
In the Freddie’s room, famous for hosting Freddie Mercury’s legendary 40th birthday party, there will be la crème de la crème of Spanish and international rock & indie DJs, alongside the resident DJ Colin Peters. Names confirmed thus far are: Nasty Mondays, Silvia Superstar, Vinila Von Bismark, Ochoymedio djs, Ley DJ, Miqui Puig, David Kano, Jeff Automatic, Viktor Olle, Mr Majestik, Bullet Boys (Bullet Club) and Difenders djs.

In the Chez Fez room exciting duels will take place between local DJs and DJs from further afield including: Gaizka Mendieta, Bilbadino, Bandera Negra, Fat Gordon, Marcos Torres, Simøne, Clara Vipership, Toxicosmos, Arnau Obiols, Lola Von Dage, DJ Ezekyel, Morini, Elektrik, Wild Wolf, Cebrian, Vincent Valera, Canovas, Javi Box, Lost Angeles, Jordi Cardona, Josep Xortó & Raver Jewish, Graham Thunder and Tiki Boy. There will also be the opportunity to try and buy vintage clothing when Flamingos Vintage Kilo bring their showroom to ROCK NIGHTS on two occasions during the summer.

ROCK NIGHTS 10th anniversary party will take place on the 8th July, featuring a very special line up that will have Nasty Mondays as the headline attraction, along with the attendance of celebrities from the world of rock and roll.

THE ‘HOUSE’ THEIR HOME EVERY SUNDAY FROM 17TH MAY​

New for 2015, ‘Pikes on Sundays’ will see two families with a deep and genuine love of the island unite at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes; one of the few places that still represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic vibe of an increasingly by gone Ibiza era. Having sound tracked Sundays on Ibiza since 2000, promoting the original Balearic party spirit with the legendary ‘We Love’ at Space, Mark & Sarah Broadbent together with Andy Livesey (Big L) are embarking on a new adventure and from Sunday 17th May the trio will make the House their home for ‘Pikes on Sundays.’

When Ibiza Rocks Founders Andy McKay and Dawn Hindle took over Pikes in 2011, theyrevived an authentic, unique, creative hub of entertainment and hospitality. Loved by bands, DJs, islanders and industry insiders, Ibiza Rocks House is truly at the heart of Ibiza nocturnal activity for those in the know. As close family friends with a shared love, integrity and a desire to authentically represent the real party spirit of Ibiza, it was a natural move to invite Mark, Sarah and Andy into their ‘House’ to takeover ‘Pikes on Sundays’ in true Ibiza style.

Ibiza Rocks House needs little introduction to Island folklore having hosted a rock n roll lifestyle since the early 80s when Tony Pike turned a deserted farmhouse into an iconic Ibizan institution almost overnight. Visiting 80’s icons like Grace Jones (lover of Tony Pike), Wham (filmed Club Tropicana in Pikes now legendary pool) and Freddie Mercury (hosted his 41st birthday party here) made this place their home long before Ibiza was on everybody’s lips.

Pikes on Sundays will start poolside with specially crafted cocktails from award-winning mixologist Steve Hughes and a super chilled Balearic soundtrack carefully programmed to suit the mood. The now famous Sunday Roast lunch will still be served from 1pm in the courtyard before day turns to night and the party picks up pace, moving from the poolside to the Potting Shed and the famous Freddie’s suite. Guests can expect sets from friends and family, label nights, island residents and surprise special guests until the small hours. Simply put, ‘Pikes on Sundays’ is the new must go for those in the know.

Sarah and I got married at Pikes so it will always be special to us, but our love for the place has grown even stronger since we’ve witnessed the spirit, energy and authenticity of the Ibiza Rocks House parties. We’re excited to continue in the Pikes tradition, inviting our friends and family along to take part in this new and exciting Sunday project.

We’re really excited and hope to see as many of you as possible, but please understand entry isn´t guaranteed as we will fill up pretty quickly and as much as we’d love to, we can’t please all of the people all of the time, regardless of guest list requests in advance.

it took me ages to decide as the choices are fantastic but i finally chose the roasted salt cod, the char-grilled aged ribe eye steak and the toffee pudding... finger licking good!

Following his recent announcement that he tragically has inoperable bowel cancer, Howard Marks has launched a Pledge campaign to complete an intimate documentary film that brings his extraordinary story up to date. As an extended friend of the family, House will welcome back Howard Marks to host an intimate dinner and poolside Q&A where guests can get up close and personal to this incredible man and hear his sensational life story on Thursday 28th May.

Featuring never-seen-before footage from Howard's 1970s home movies and secretly filmed clips of his adventures, “The Real Mr Nice” lays bare the truth about one of the world’s most famous counterculture heroes. For the very first time Howard Marks has granted access to his highly organised and extraordinarily eclectic personal archive, allowing director Sam Rowland complete freedom to digitise illuminating scenes from 100s of hours of footage.

Featuring interviews with hitherto unknown collaborators in Howard's hashish empire, previously illusive and unlikely candidates have finally come out of the woodwork as they watch the war on drugs recede. Their strange tales reveal the often hilarious inside story of the real Cheech and Chongs.

Studying all aspects of the once notorious smuggler, “The Real Mr Nice” shines a light on sides of Howard’s life and personality not previously revealed to the media - his hobbies, academic endeavours, family life, friendships and 1970s career in music production.

This exclusive event will provide a very rare chance to share time and stories with our friend, Howard Marks, for a cause as great as the man himself.

The night will be uniquely hosted by Mike Keat, founder and frontman of the Cuban Brothers. Entertainer for the likes of Elton John or Robbie Williams, actor and performer, this Scottish-born and his alter ego Miguel will take over the evening bringing comedy to the House.
