last year they didn't announce the special guests so you probably won't find out until you cross the door...
 
this may be a daft question - can you just turn up to these shows? Is in invite only or ticketed or just turn up? is there a charge on the door?

Back for round two, Idris will host an incredible 9 Saturday night House parties from 5th July – 30th August as 7 Wallace presents Idris Elba & Friends at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes.

A second run of parties for one of the world’s most in demand artists is a true testament to Idris Elba’s love of music, his love of Ibiza Rocks House and his love of Ibiza. The 7 Wallace parties are intimate and understated with no cover charge, just a very cool house party vibe in a uniquely charming venue, full of character, full of individuality and seeped in music history. As the sun goes down, Idris Elba will once again turn up the heat at the House as the Hackney-born, Hollywood ‘A’ lister returns to his roots and to his first love, music. For 9 weeks, every Saturday from 5th July, Idris Elba will take the reigns and get behind the decks for a special summer residency at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes.

The hotel’s exclusive ‘Freddie’s’ suite, famous for hosting Freddie Mercury’s 41st birthday bash, is devilishly decadent and at the heart of Ibiza after-dark activity for those in the know. It’s here that Idris Elba will set up home and do his ‘7 Wallace’ thing, bringing together his love of throwing a great party and bringing friends and unannounced names to spin and party alongside him. He may be best known for his Golden Globe-winning turn in Luther or as Stringer Bell in The Wire, or as Nelson Mandela in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, but music is in this man’s heart and seeps through his soul. Happy Monday! is back, our fabulous warm-up before Ibiza Rocks House at Pacha. Happy Monday! will run with half price on all drinks (except wine and champagne) from 7pm until midnight and half price on tapas specials with DJ Antz playing a poolside set. Today we´ll be celebrating the 80th birthday of Tony Pikes and Howard Marks is back to tell us more about his infamous life.

Famous for his audacious exploits in the 70′s and 80′s, Howard Marks made his name in the most unconventional of ways and for one exclusive night only, he will sit pride of place at the legendary Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes to tell an intimate audience all about it. Guests can expect an exclusive insight into the intriguing world of his life as an ex-international drug smuggler, author, philosopher and raconteur.

Howard Marks avoided the law for twenty years, whilst building one of the biggest drugs smuggling rings in history. In 1988 the American Drug Enforcement Agency finally caught up with Howard and he served seven years of a twenty-five year sentence at America's toughest federal penitentiary.

Since then, Howard Marks has worked with the British Secret Service and has been connected with the Mafia, the IRA, MI6 and the CIA. This unique and captivating story has been immortalised in his best-selling autobiography ‘Mr. Nice’ and Bernard Roses film of the same title, but rarely does an opportunity to arise to get so close to a counterculture icon.

From growing up in South Wales and attending Oxford University to being imprisoned plus all the astonishing secrets and sensational stories in between, Ibiza Rocks House is proud to announce this very special evening hosted by Howard Marks - the man once described as 'the most sophisticated drug baron of all time' and regularly referred to as Mr. Nice.
