With just two more weeks left of Ibiza Rocks 2013 summer we have a few special events in store for you, starting with a special Franz Ferdinand after party tomorrow night. Invite only guys unless you´re Rocks staff and then we simply must insist on your attendance.

Sunny, our fabulous host will be rocking out in Freddies bath tub with a microphone, fancy dress of all sorts and no doubt a mass of eager karaoke victims. DJ´s Andy Carroll and Andy Dean will have you throwing shapes you didn´t know were possible in Freddies and the potting shed.

If you don´t have the pleasure of knowing our fabulous Sunny and you´re not Rocks staff then please send all guestlist requests to events@ibizarockshouse.com...we´ll let you know if you´re on the list.

If that´s not enough (and lets face it one party a week at Pikes usually isn´t) there´s more...so much more. Friday sees Smokin Jo, Skin (Skunk Anansie), David Morales, Andy Baxter, Andy Carroll and Bones taking to the decks for what will be an incredible party!!

Get involved in one or preferably both parties, both totally different but equally amazing and at a venue like no other on the Island...a cool place where grown ups can dance off one minute, chill with mates the next and dress up and be a little naughty if one takes a fancy. Guest list is essential.

‘Vamp Rocks’ confirms its return for Halloween​

Who would have thunk it?! Here we are in September and according to the recent weather, summer definitely seems to be coming to a close. But up at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel, and as the sign at the front entrance says, it ain’t over till the fat lady sings. And she ain’t singin’ just yet…

After a very successful run on Fridays, Idris Elba has finally left our shores to shimmy his way up the red carpets of the international movie world, with the premier of his latest blockbuster, Pacific Rim. Accepting the challenge and the party gauntlet from him for the next couple of weeks then, Smokin’ Jo is the woman responsible for getting the weekend going through the month of September. Guest DJs include Skin (Skunk Anansie), David Morales, Bones, Andy Carroll and Colin Peters amongst more surprise names yet to be announced. Kicking off at midnight, just as We Are Rockstars comes to a close over at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, Fridays have gone from strength to strength up at IRH over the summer and don’t look to have any notion of stopping just yet. Our kind of people, our kind of music, our kind of fun…

Moving on to the regular Sunday summer shenanigans and renowned party starter, DJ Antz Bryans, has wowed us all over the last weeks with a line up of guest DJs that have been nothing if not diverse- from much respected DJ Arthur Baker to Eastenders’ star Patsy Palmer, Disco Don Nigel Atkin, Hugo Heathcote, Jon Sa Trinxa, Colin Peters, Dave Lubin and Justin Field amongst them. With five events to go, our main man is pulling out the sonic stops for this last month of events at the rock n roll hotel of choice.

As for the simultaneous Sunday Roast- it’s the perfect choice for these September days; make sure you bring a big appetite. We recommend pre-booking your table (details below). As for the actual Closing Party on Sunday October 13, we should probably mention that post-sunset, the evening will turn somewhat all Rocky Horror Picture Show with a screening of the legendary musical with the party continuing on into the wee small hours. Fishnets at the ready, time is fleeting and madness takes its toll…

Which brings us rather neatly to Halloween and, after last year’s successful scariness, we are very excited to announce the return of VAMP ROCKS on 31October. With tickets at 10€, price including a chalice of our finest mead plus a very scary surprise; this is guaranteed to be a night of shrieking good fun all round. No fancy dress, no entrance. DJs on the night include Stray Kitten, Bones and more TBC.

In other news, and following on from the recent Freddie Rocks Fundraiser on 1Sept, it’s with an enormous amount of pride that we announce that the total raised so far for the Mercury Phoenix Trust at this year’s event is 4,000€ and counting! Massive thanks to all who got involved with the annual hirsute fundraiser- this is one doo that is becoming quite the institution at the house on the hill.

As Ibiza Rocks 2013 draws to a close we have a few special parties planned for Pikes to see out the summer with a bang. This Wednesday - tonight - The Foals and Jaguar Ma will be taking to the decks in Freddies from midnight onwards, joined by residents Andy Carroll and Andy ´Boilerhouse´ Dean.

As always this is an Invite only party unless you´re Rocks staff and then we expect to see you all there. The fancy dress boudoir will be open as usual and with a little persuasion I´m sure Sunny will have a bath tub full of Foals singing along to "Summer holiday" and people fighting for the mic.

We´ve been hearing whispers of disappointment that, after such a fun summer of partying, Friday´s at Pikes are over.

Well Ladies and Gents I can confirm this is totally not true.

Antz and Bones are confirmed to take over Freddie´s in the coming weeks...along with special guests announcements (check our Facebook page) and surprise guests we wont be announcing (be there to find out who).

As the clubs close for the summer Pikes continues to offer the ultimate house party every week with some of the best DJ´s around. If you´ve been to any of our Friday parties you wont want to miss out on what we´ve got coming up...if you haven´t now is the time to get involved.

More information coming over the next few days, in the meantime here´s the essential information you need:

As the season draws to an end we hope you join us in celebrating our summer closing party on FRIDAY 11th OCTOBER. Continuing the theme of 2014 of sex, drugs and rock and roll we have one hell of a final party for you planned.

Join us from 9pm where the evening will turn somewhat all ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW with a screening of the legendary musical - bring cushions, deckchairs, rugs and accessorize your space. Get cosy for the movie showing and we´re giving a prize for the most creative area. We hope to show the movie in the tennis court or poolside but always a possibility for this time of year - if it rains we´ll be indoors

No Friday movie night is complete without Fish and Chips...limited numbers available and booking in advance recommended...

ANTZ and BONES will have the party continuing on into the wee small hours in Freddies and SUNNY, your fabulous host for the evening will be up to his usual mischief. With Halloween round the very next corner and all, and here it is: Your favourite vampy vixens have decided it’s only right that, on this 31st October, they bring back their second annual spooky soiree - VAMP ROCKS- in our favourite Haunted House on the Hill.

Following on from the scary success of last year’s VAMP ROCKS, Eddie the Evil and Patsy Putrid have dived head first into the cauldron of morbid mischief and saucy spells and plan to trick or treat y’all to a Halloween you may never forget…even if you want to...

We'll kick off at 9pm in Freddie (Kruger’s) suite with a fabulously ghoulish buffet and a movie on the big screen, options from Teen Wolf, Lost Boys, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining or Psycho.

Following the movie we kick start the party with a live band performance from spooky serenade.

Over in the Bloody Bathtub, you can scream, shriek and even sing the night away with our SCAREOKE competition taking place throughout the evening-prize for the best crooner…

As far as dress code goes, think vampires, werewolves, faeries, witches, ghouls, ghosts, zombies, monsters, mynaeds, shape shifters- all the stuff that Halloween is made of! But there are no limits- as long as you've made an effort, that's the spirit we're after!

Of course, we also want you to shake your old bones on the dancefloor of doom and so, providing the Halloween hell-raising hits, VAMP ROCKS welcomes back STRAY KITTEN, BONES, LISA CHADDERTON, DAVE PHILLIPS AND STEFFAN SWINGLER

6. Freddie Mercury's Birthday (Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel)
There were children with chest hair in the ball pit but the ball pit was a spa bath and the spa bath was a karaoke stage. It was 10pm. This was just one room of the many-holed wayward warren that is Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes. A rock and roll hotel like no other, its crowning event is the mega house party thrown to commemorate the birthday of Freddie Mercury, a frequenter of the hotel who’s 40th birthday there was by all accounts…wild. Pikes does Ibiza eccentricity like no other venue, and who would miss out on the opportunity to don a moustache and dance with a giant skeleton in Freddie Mercury’s old bedroom whilst Antz and 2ManyDJs spin tunes from a window in the closet? Someone brought a ukelele, of course.

VAMP ROCKS!

…a night of scary surprises, horrible hellbabies and freaky fun…

After last year’s scarily successful party of the same time, Halloween ‘wildcard’, VAMP is back in black this Thursday 31st October for a night of toe-tingling, blood-curdling madness up at Ibiza’s favourite haunted house on the hill, the 400 year old finca that is Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel.

As per last year, organisers of the Halloween extravaganza Jillian Canney (FIX Ibiza) and Leanne Chilton (Ibiza Rocks) are pulling out the stops, diving head first into their cast iron cauldron of morbid mischief and saucy spells, their ultimate goal to trick and treat Ibiza’s naughtiest nocturnal creatures to a Halloween they may never forget.

Providing the spooky soundtrack throughout the night, DJs BONES, STRAY KITTEN, DAVID PHILLIPS, MISS CHADDERS and STEF SWINGLER are the demons in charge of the dancefloor. Local duo SERENADE will also be creeping out of the shadows for a live (as opposed to undead) performance very much based on the event’s central theme of Halloween. All of the above combined and plenty of opportunity to bust one’s monster moves on the dancefloor.

Amongst other scary surprises being concocted for the party, beware of the Bloody Bathtub, where guests are invited to scream, shriek and even sing the night away in the SCAREOKE competition. Prize for the best crooner…

Talking of prizes, Head Vamps Jill and Leanne will also be dishing out a few of those along the course of the evening for the best Halloween costumes, fancy dress pretty much obligatory for this particular party. Think vampires, werewolves, witches, faeries, demons, devils, spirits, shapeshifters, ghouls, ghosts, zombies, monsters, mummies, and mynaeds but don’t be scared, any other variety of spooky/inventive/topical/comedy fancy dress get up is welcome to join in the manky mix.

Keeping up the Halloween spirit, literally, local spiritualist and medium Lisa Chadderton (Garden of Light) will be conducting a series of one-on-one psychic readings throughout the evening. A limited number of time slots are available for booking and reservations are recommended.

In charge of lighting and special effects in and around the hotel and its grounds, island experts, Aladdin Lights are back on board to help turn this Halloween into a veritable Nightmare on Pike St. Man behind that particular operation, Simon Hall promises an assortment of tricks and treats to make you turn in your grave.

As far as fodder goes, organisers have another bonus lined up for their gory guests with local catering company, Cook Ibiza stepping up to provide a Halloween BBQ with a difference at an additional cost of 20€ per head. With a menu very much in keeping with the theme, the Cook Ibiza team will be serving up a feast fit for the most bloodthirsty of critters from 9pm-11pm, with a selection of the finest cuts of meat, all sourced from local suppliers and accompanied by a selection of salads and other yummy Halloween treats. As a final point to note, and due to public demand, last year’s Star of the Halloween Show, The Gnarly Witch will also make a return visit to Pikes for Halloween, bringing with her a new addition to the proceedings, her brand new HellBaby, offspring of the Gnarly one and spawned by Satan himself. Devilled Eggs, if you will…

All that, plus a whole lot more blood, guts and gore, a monster mash from 9pm till the last banshee wails.

Tickets are now on sale at 10€ and prior purchase is recommended for guaranteed entry. Price includes a trick or treat, a witch’s sup and a bloody good night out.
