so..... who went to ibiza rocks? how was it?
I went to the gig with the Automatic, The View and Underground Heroes. All 3 were superb. The Automatic rocked the place.

WINTER NEWS
We could not be hapier with Ibiza Rocks at Bar M in 2006. Plans are now well under way for next summer and it is looking like we will have some major acts playing in 2007 as well as a selection of the best new talent. For those who missed the Ibiza Rocks Channel 4 TV series don't worry as it will be repeated before the summer next year again on Channel 4.
We are reluctant to say to much about 2007 yet but it will be better but not bigger because we like bands performing intimate shows on the beach. So expect another of season of sold out shows....

First Band Fully Confirmed
Sorry we can't say anything yet but we have just fully closed our first band for 2007! Many more are in the process of being closed, but anyone out in Ibiza on the first week of Septermber would be wise to be one of our friends so they find out about this gig fast as there can be no doubts that this one will sell out well in advance.
We shall be doing at least one gig every week of the season from late june to mid sept. The problem is there are just too many great bands!

Sorry we can't say anything yet but we have just fully closed our first band for 2007! Many more are in the process of being closed, but anyone out in Ibiza on the first week of Septermber would be wise to be one of our friends so they find out about this gig fast as there can be no doubts that this one will sell out well in advance.
We shall be doing at least one gig every week of the season from late june to mid sept. The problem is there are just too many great bands!

Update on Ibiza Rocks...
Talent now flying in for Ibiza Rocks Several bands have now fully closed for Ibiza Rocks this summer and already we can safely say this years line up is the biggest and best yet. There will be a gig every week this summer from mid June to hopefully mid September. Some weeks we will be doing 3 or even 4 nights of live music. At the moment the week of 16th July and the very end of Aug / beginning of Sept is looking particularly loaded. Bar M will also be promoting some other concerts outside of the Ibiza Rocks brand. Mike Skinner will be making 2 apperances in Bar M this summer with his Streets Soundsystem and the keen eyed amongst you may have already noticed that LCD Soundsystem managed to announce their gig before we could ask them not to. Please encourage anyone who wants tickets to Ibiza Rocks to sign up as our friends as we will announce here and at the soon to be relaunched www.ibizarocks.com first. We do not expect to announce our line up for at least another month - sorry we know many of you want to book now. Whilst it will still be a few weeks before we announce our line-ups we can now say (more or less 100%) that we will be running a live Ibiza Rocks event in Bar M every Tuesday from 19th June till 11th September. We will also be doing events on some other nights of the week but we have decided to make sure that we are live every Tuesday so everyone has something to plan around. Many of these events will be filmed as part of our "Ibiza Rocks"Channel 4 TV series. Most of the bands that are headlining this summer are really looking forward to playing such an intimate gig on the beach in front of a few hundred people as they rarely get to do that.
Get ready for an amazing summer of live music in Ibiza...

We are sorry to keep you waiting but we are quietly confident that our events will sell well so we prefered to wait and announce our summer with a bit of a bang. As with last year some acts will be announced later also so the only way to make sure you find out fast (before a gig sells out) is to subscribe to this blog. Remember Ibiza Rocks will be every Tuesday from 19th June till 11th September but we will also be throwing quite a few one off specials on other days.
