not a fan of primal scream even i remember they were very popular through Rock press
My uk taste are more upon bands such as Def Leppard (b4 hysteria album as they went cheesy after), the Alarm, Big Country; the silencers, crowded House ..not the indie scene
ps:Ibz will be the last place in the world i will listen to Rock Music :D,i met a sheffield girl ibz 2000 where father was Def lep manager :cool: Susie Mortimer she may be 35old now, if anyone living in sheffield & know her , keep in touch :D

I think there IS a place for rock in IBZ but funky rock with a Spanish feel though - stuff like Barrabas or old hippies like Santana. Very balearic. Landfill indie like the Kooks is better suited to northern climes imo.

Bands like primal scream,happy Mondays and the stone roses with their old ravey,psychedelic stuff going on fits well with the island I think. But not at the Ibiza rocks hotel. One or two gigs a year at Ku ..?
 
might consider new order if they were playing

they've still got it (even if mr hook disagrees)

and 'the perfect kiss' is always a beautiful sunset moment

but tired old bands just going through the motions or reliving former glories is something I generally swerve

i see a new panel up on the roof behind the stage to reduce the noise (the one at the left was there already), new screen at the left and new small palm trees to decorate!
 
Don't know,our mate who's birthday it is booked everything.21 people staying here and rest of group staying next door.should be fun.:) hope everyone is stil in bed when we arrive,its gonna be like Dads Army on acid.:eek::lol: looking forward to it though.
