prydz always does radio 1 parties! so radio 1 weekend is after this, but then look at the cream line up week after?

well danny howard does advertise radio 1 @ Ushuaia on 31st July and sunset strip 1st august.

and it's the only week he advertises it, I just think with it being there 20th birthday they were gonna do a 2 weekender, danny howard wouldn't be advertising it on his websites if he hasn't been confirmed so il be there
 
Can anyone tell me why they prefer this weekend to all other weekends? Honestly looks like my idea of hell (trouble getting taxis, increase in the number of younger clientele etc)

Honestly just interested to understand if I am missing something?
 
I think alot of people who go for the Radio One weekend are more than happy to spend their time in the West End with maybe the odd club night thrown in. A chance to check out Ushuaia and for free would be very appealing.
 
I suppose people would be attracted to it being the busiest weekend of the year if they were just wanting to mainly do bars etc. Each to their own.
 
That was only one reason. If Cream do their big event at Privilege as per the norm of the last few years then I'd say that was another. Not many chances to see Privilege at capacity these days if at all.

I second this. It's also the most expensive time to travel
 
Due to work commitments normally the only full week I can go, haven't really noticed any major differences from the times I've been early September/early June though.

Saying that only been to the Radio 1 parties in Privilege not Ushuaiai, decent fairly mixed crowd from what I remember.
 
well I love radio 1 weekend, and just for the record I hate the west end never step foot in it, so this is people just stereotyping, my 5 day trip is the following.

Tuesday: pukka up sunset boat party, carl cox @ night for the birthday bash
Wednesday: ocean beach, axwell & ingrosso @ Ushuaia, then plastic at night.
Thursday: pvd sunset cruise TBC, Cream @ amnesia 21st birthday
Friday: radio 1 at Ushuaia, then insane @ pacha
Saturday: radio 1 @ sunset strip, then hed kandi at night
sunday: bora bora then home at night, back to work on the tuesday

That's some going regardless of music and tastes. I foresee a crash and burn probably halfway through Cream...although all depends on your recovery time.
