Haha, I'm 9 years younger than you :lol:. I detest feeling like absolute death the next day in Ibiza tbh, prefer not to piss days away sleeping or doing nothing in a hotel room (think that's why I liked the villa so much, at least we had a pool)
 
defo if I get in at 8am I generally never sleep past 12, up and on the bevvy again it's great, was supposed to be renting a villa this year from my friend (colin butts, is harry on the boat?) ) but couldn't get the body's together, think for my 40th i'l try tomorrowland.:eek:

Villa last year made such a difference in holiday. Doesn't seem likely to happen this year though
 
hoping that it's the weekend of 31st July, it was those dates last year....thought I'd hate it and feel like an absolutel dinosaur (I'm older than you guys by some way) but couldn't have been more wrong - there is a majority of the crowd under 30 but was pleasantly surprised to find a good number of the 30+ somethings :) all booked up for this year again, if anything like last year Annie Mac announced the exact date and how to get tickets for the Friday night at Ushuaia sometime in April, i'll check my post from last year as someone got back to me a couple of days before it was announced with a 90% sure 'insider info' tip and turned out to be right so i'll maybe hunt him down again and suggest he goes insider hunting again :)

Any confirmation of the Radio 1 weekend yet? As Richard says I.R are advertising WAR on Friday 31st July as Radio 1 Week, hope so I'm out 29th July.
 
Radio 1 Proms @ RAH on 29th July. Likely to be the start to R1 weekend I'd have thought.

Whilst it's still un-official, there's some big hints on the party calendar. That plus a combination of using previous years as an earmarker, I'd say if you wanna book earlier and save yourself a few quid then take a risk and plump for it.

You're going right in the thick of season, even on the off-chance it turns out not to be that weekend you're not going to be disappointed with the line-ups.

I think from previous 'official' confirmation from BBC it's varied from April-June when they announce - last couple of years has been June that the press release was issued from their media office...(which isn't that far away really).

As W-I-C says can take a punt and still be guaranteed a decent weekend anyway even if it's a different weekend.
 
I'm away to Ibiza 2 weeks today with my wife but already booked up for 28th July with the boys, I think it will be Friday the 31st and Saturday the 1st, as W-I-C says i've already used the party calendar to my advantage , but it's there birthday this year so I think it will run over 2 weekends,
 
Also confirmed in Danny Howard's tour dates on his website for radio 1 live from Ushuaia 31st July and 1st aug Danny Howard presents @ sunset strip
